Hello Mga Kabarts! We hope everyone is safe and well. We are happy to share this Bacolod Barter Community project for Deecember - THE CHRISTMAS KINDNESS BARTER.
Mechanics:
Wrap a gift for a stranger this Christmas and also give it as an anonymous giver. Write a general description of the gift (houseware, cltohing etc) outside the box and express what type of receiver you want to give it away (teenage girl, infant, adult man, etc).
To track your gift, we will assigned it a code number. You will also be given a Christmas Kindness Badge which you may post on social media.
The receiver will be asked to post a "thank you post" together with a picture of the gift in your group - so you will know it was given away.
This project is only exclusive for BBC Group Members. Join https://www.facebook.com/groups/328705658555977
PLUS!!! For Christmas and New Year's Eve - we will select the best Thank You posts and award them with groceries.
WE WILL START ACCEPTING GIFTS ON THE LAST WEEK OF NOVEMBER AND ALSO IDENTIFYING RECEIVERS.

"We aim to see more barter communities established by local stakeholders with a common mission to promote barter as part of our way of life as Filipinos. As founders, we commit to promote good values as the cornerstones of our respective barter communities. We redefine the traditional barter system as a new norm of helping one another and shall not in any way promote commercialism and materialism but positive values such as generosity, determination, honesty, patience, integrity, gender sensitivity, equality and ecological awareness.
