“LIFE IS A CHOICE”

Two eggs are telling each other what they wanted to be when they hatch.
The first egg said, “I want to be an oyster when I hatch. An oyster just stays in the water and never has to make any decisions. The current of the ocean move it about and it doesn’t have to plan on what’s ahead of it. Whatever the ocean provides is what the oyster receives, no more, no less.”

The fist egg continued, “That’s the life for me.
It may be limited, but there are no decisions to make and no responsibilities to accomplish.
There’s a secure existence controlled only by the ocean.”

The second egg has this to say, “That’s not the life for me. I wish to be an eagle for it is free to go wherever it wants to go and do what it pleases. Of course it is responsible for hunting its own food and making survival decisions, but it is also free to fly as high as the highest mountains.”

“The eagle”, continued the second egg, “is in control, instead of being controlled by others.
I want no limits placed upon me, nor do I want to be a slave of the ocean. I am willing to expend the efforts required to live the life of an eagle. I will create my own destiny.”

This man, Mr. Ian Legaspi, is one of my mentors in the business.
He is one of my inspiration in the company.
From the energy, positivity, humbleness, approachability and started businesses at a very young age(/o) 😮.

What strucked me most about him is that, before he entered the industry, this guy is already a businessman.

He is a distributor of Gardenia at Pampanga and also owns salons with his wife.
Which gives me a big question in mind,
“With such businesses, why would he join such industry?” So i asked him and
his answer was simple and i will never forget.
“yun nga ang point, with the businesses i have, i still invloved myself and did it. So mas lalo ka na.”
From there, i realized Iba talaga mag isip pag negosyante mindset.

The 3 things i’ll never forget from him are:
1.) The Growth and the Downfall of your business is always at your hands.
2.) Don’t chase Money and People. Chase your Vision of what you want to happen in your life then money and people will follow.
3.) Money is never the important thing, but it affects majority of the important things in life.

Always thankful for his unending willingness to share his insights and knowledge in the business despite of having no benefits at all as i grow.

I became a dad at 19 and life have never been the same. ☺️

Raising kids is not a joke.
From financial additions, health challenges, time managements etc.
But i always do believe that in every problem, theres always a solution.

The day i entered fatherhood, all I wanted is for my kids to have a better life than i have.
And one of which is always being there by their side as they grow.

Time, as we all know, is a thing we could never get back as it passes. But what mostly happens is we have been sacrificing it (including distance) just to provide the financial needs of our loved ones, our family. Thinking that it is the only choice we have.

But alas! I will never forget that day and will always be thankful to God for giving me an opportunity that doesn’t require me to go far away from them, can provide them abundantly things not just they need but also they want including the security of their future and make them belong to the healthiest family on earth.
