Suspension of Classes and Work for Teachers and Non-Teaching Personnel are now LIFTED. As such, Face to Face Classes at all levels and work for all teachers and non-teaching personnel in the municipality shall RESUME tomorrow MAY 3, 2024 (FRIDAY).

Considering that the temperature may still be at above normal conditions, everyone is encouraged to keep hydrated and avoid prolong exposure outside covered and sheltered areas.

Tomorrow, Monday April 8, 2024 all classes nationwide will be turned to Asynchronous. So, mga estudyante dili na mag adto sa tulonghaan. Resumption of face to face classes will be on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Daghang salamat!

ADVISORY

7 April 2024 - In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on Monday, 8 April 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

ADVISORY:

As per recommendation by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and after careful assessment of the situation in areas of concern for flooding and related events/incidents, CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS are STILL SUSPENDED tomorrow JANUARY 18, 2024 (Thursday) in the Municipality of Montevista.

The suspension includes work for all teachers and non-teaching personnel in the municipality.

Safety and precaution must still be observed at all times by everyone. Coordinate with your respective BDRRMCs and report to MDRRMO for emergencies and need of rescue and relief efforts.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡!

DepEd Davao Region is encouraging all its teachers, personnel, education leaders, and learners, together with their parents, to read passages in the Bible as part of the observance of National Bible Month in January.

It also encourages the teachers to include passages from the Bible in all their reading activities, especially the Learning Camp Fridays, also known as Catch-Up Fridays.

Rev. Rueland Badoy, the Davao coordinator of the National Bible Month 2024 celebration, said the development and transformation cannot happen without the moral and spiritual aspects.

“We believe that the moral and spiritual enhancement and development should be given equal priority,” he added.

This Bible reading is intensified through Republic Act 11163, known as An Act Declaring the Last Monday of January Every Year as a Special Working Holiday in Observance of National Bible Day.

The Presidential Proclamation No. 124 also declares January of every year as National Bible Month, culminating in the last week as National Bible Week.

The National Bible Month 2024 is themed “God’s Word: The Breath of New Life”.
