Project Elisha celebrated National Children’s Month 2024 with the theme: 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. 𝘌𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦; 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 — 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴.

The event included a parade for children aged 3-11, where they marched joyfully to mark the occasion. There were fun games, art activities, and interactive sessions that taught the children the importance of National Children’s Month and the need to promote a safe, violence-free environment.

𝗧𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁!

Thank you Compassion Philippines for the wonderful opportunity given to our Negros Catalysts to learn so much about the important aspects of Electoral Campaigning. For sure our 835 Catalyst participants have learned a lot.

The Project Elisha Youth, ages 12-22, participated in an outreach program in Barangays 13, 14, and 16 as part of their Mission Month celebration. The youth group shared God's Word, connected with local children, and led a series of activities, including games, singing, and dancing. It was a day filled with joy, fellowship, and the love of Christ, as they sought to make a positive impact in the community.

In celebration of 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗣'𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 this October, the Saturday class for children aged 3-11 held a special mission's activity. The children dressed in costumes representing different countries, symbolizing their connection to the global mission field. During the event, they were taught to pray for missionaries around the world and learned the importance of giving to support missions. They also participated in a prayer station activity, deepening their understanding of the mission work. This activity ignited a passion for missions in the young participants, demonstrating the impact of prayer and generosity.

Finally sharing some highlights from our Alumni Gathering! It was wonderful to see old Project Elisha participants come together to reconnect, share laughs, and enjoy a delicious dinner. There’s something special about going back to where you belong and reliving those amazing memories.

— Praise God for the fruitful Skills Training held at BongBong’s on October 12, 2024! Three batches of youth, ages 12-18, learned the art of making the iconic Piaya. It was a hands-on experience that equipped them with valuable skills and an appreciation for local delicacies.

The 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 was successfully held today at the 𝗕𝗖𝗔𝗖 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 as a part of the 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵'𝘴 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮 leading the session. Parents were equipped with critical knowledge on 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, with an emphasis on practical steps families can take to ensure safety. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝘊𝘋𝘞𝘴) further demonstrated the importance and use of a '𝗚𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗴' during emergencies, detailing its essential contents.

As a token of appreciation and support, each participant received 1 𝘬𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 after the event 𝙏𝙤 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 for another impactful and fruitful gathering!

𝑺𝑶𝑳𝑰 𝑫𝑬𝑶 𝑮𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑨!

On September 22, 2024, we held a 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 for youth aged 12-18up at the BCAC Celebration Center. The session, led by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮, covered preparedness for 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦, and 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘬𝘦 scenarios.

Participants learned essential awareness strategies and discussed necessary actions to take before, during, and after each disaster. The training concluded with the distribution of health kits for their personal hygiene.
