Calling all Pharmacists in Davao City.. Let us help our fellowmen ravaged by Bagyong Paeng.
PPhA DCC and YPG Davao City will be sending Medicine Kits. We are appealing to your kind heart to send monetary donations to the accounts posted below.
Thank you!
The Young Pharmacist Group Philippines is once again in need of donations for medicines.
With the recent upland clash that occurred between New People's Army (NPA) and government troops in the highlands of Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, several indigenous people and residents of the said city were evacuated to safe places. Albeit some of them were successfully evacuated to areas away from the hot zones, there are those who were still trapped in the hot zones of the said area of encounter.
Many of the evacuees are sick. Children, adults and senior citizens developed, cough, fever and colds. However, medicine supplies were on shortage for the city health center that is accommodating the sick evacuees.
Beside food and other basic necessities, doctors, pharmacists and nurses have identified the urgent need of medicines to be delivered in their area as more of the evacuees become ill each day. With very little amount of medicines in the health centers, health workers resort to non-pharmacologic interventions (drinking water, lowering the body temperature by damping cool washcloth and the likes).
Now, we knock on your hearts for monetary and in-kind donations which we will be supplying to the affected evacuees of Himamaylan City.
Basing from the last donation drive, after bagyong Odette hit the Philippines last year, the remaining money and medicines supplies will be endorsed to the health center of Himamaylan soonest but more will still be needed to accommodate the affected patients.
We need OTC, prescription medicines and vitamins.
For those who are interested to help, you may send in your donations through the details [Rheene Rose Bajon] below or contact our page, or David S. Hinolan.
We are direly needed by our fellow Filipinos in these trying times when peace if beyond their reach.
WE ARE ALSO OPEN FOR COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT OR REACH OUT. :-)
More than the medicines and money, we ask you to include the fallen ones, families and those who are affected by this encounter in your prayers.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🥳🎉
Today, we give praise and credit to the roles and contributions of every pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist, and other professionals who are part of this field. This celebration does not only increase awareness of our significant roles in healthcare but also foster those roles through enhanced involvement in the communities, both on national and local levels.
This year’s theme, 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, aims to showcase pharmacy’s positive impact on health around the world and to further strengthen solidarity among the profession.
We invite our fellow young pharmacists to come together and show the world how we are united for health, regardless of and overcoming conflict, different politics and cultures, and economic disparity.
