Because we don’t quiet the mind just to “feel good,” we do it to prepare our bodies for the accountability it takes to regain a hold of our lives and follow our sense of direction.

We do it in order to be able to handle the questions that matter:

“where & who do I want to be in this life? with whom do I want to share my life with? how am I co-creating the reality I say I want to exist in? to what degree have I been responsible for my own suffering? how can I bring inner peace into my life and move forward in deeper trust?”

THAT takes the body a lot of energy to digest, process and integrate. the feeling of being 100% fully responsible for your life is not for the faint of heart.

That’s why we prime the body: to welcome a more expanded version of self.

This is one of the reasons I’m constantly reminding people to “feel your feelings.” Because we don’t heal by simply making sense of things. We gotta feel it to heal it.
