In photos were the MDRRM Office Personnel and Municipal Engineering's Office Personnel, who conducted clearing operations at Purok 10 Zone 3 at Barangay Baretbet, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya. A concerned citizen have reported to the Office of the Municipal Mayor and was directed to the MDRRM Office, on an issue about multiple soil erosions along the farm to market road of the aforementioned area.

With this, we would like to thank the Municipal Engineering Office for their help to the MDRRM Office in the conduct of clearing operations at Sitio Amballo South. Also, to the MDRRM Chairman, Hon. Benigno B. Calauad, for providing logistical support for the said activity.

Today, the LDRRM Office, headed by its Council Chairman, Hon. Benigno Calauad, thru its Officer Mr. R-Jay Duleng, and Staff - Ms. Aira Mae Tomines and Mr. Julius Matias, attended the National Disaster Resilience Month Culminating Activity held at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center, Provincial Capitol, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The Culminating Activity marks the closing of the month long celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2024. This activity was spearheaded by Provincial DRRM Office, headed by its PDRRM Council, Hon. Jose V. Gambito, through the initiative of the PDRRM Officer, Mr. King Webster Balaw-ing. The said activity was also graced by dignitaries from the DILG, NVPPO, NVBFP, PNRC, IKCI, and the 15 MDRRMOs of Nueva Vizcaya.

Bagabag was also lucky to be given Certificates of Participation and Commendation, including 10 units Go Bags, to be used for emergency, rescue and response. We are very grateful for this huge opportunity and provisions of equippage to the MDRRM Office. Our deepest gratitude to our Governor, Sir Jing and the PDRRM Office headed by Sir King.

July 19, 2024 - The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office, through the leadership of the MDRRM Council Chairperson, Hon. Benigno B. Calauad, Municipal Mayor, was invited to tackle Disaster Risk Reduction and Management with Basic First Aid Training Activity. The participants were all students of the Saint Jerome's Academy who are taking their Citizens Army Training.

The team led by its leader, Mr. R-Jay Duleng, was accompanied by Ms. Aira Tomines, Mr. Julius Matias and Mr. Michael Gatchalian, whom shared their talents and expertise in first aid and DRRM.

Coming together in this kind of activities are one of the goals of DRRM for a resilient community.

𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒊𝒅 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈

On July 15-17, 2024, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council headed by its Chairperson, Hon. Benigno B. Calauad, Municipal Mayor, approved the conduct of the Standard First Aid Training. It was participated by various offices such as the MDRRMO, MHO, BFP, MSWDO, MPDO and MEO.

The training was objectified to sustain the lives of the constituents and to prevent further injuries they may sustain. The training was facilitated by the experts in emergency responses from the Provincial DRRM Office.

Warning: Some of the simulation exercises presents bloody and injured patients along the highway, but nobody was hurt during this simulation. It was purely for educational and training purposes only.

July 11-12, 2024 marked the commencement of the trainings of LGU Personnel, to include the BFP as part of the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2024. The Conduct of Basic Life Support were graced by our experts in life saving techniques from the PDRRMO Nueva Vizcaya. This initiative was spearheaded by the MDRRM Office, with the guidance and approval of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, headed by its Chairperson, Hon. Benigno B. Calauad, Municipal Mayor.This initiative will never be a success without the participation of all participants.

The said culmination have provided more insights to the participants in their system of responses in cases that emergencies may occur, and in that way, capacitation is one of the keys to save more lives that are immediate in nature.
