"𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) conducted a training titled, Basic Communication Skills: Building Confidence in Face-to-Face Communication on 20 June 2024 at Escano, DA-BAR, Quezon City

This activity was in response to the call for bridging the knowledge and skills gaps of DA-BAR employees, as identified from the bureau’s Learning Needs Assessment Survey.

Angelo E. Base, a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from Holy Cross Theological Seminary and Colleges, discussed the topic titled, Creating a Better Workplace Through Better Communication Skills. Among the highlights of the discussion are introduction to organizational behavior, introduction to communication 102 paralleled with video presentations and group exercises.

The training was attended by officials and technical staff from different divisions of the bureau. The activity was organized and facilitated by the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) led by Jude Ray P. Laguna."

TOP 10 REASONS WHY MOST COUPLES ARE NOT INTERESTED TO UNDERGO MARRIAGE COUNSELING WHEN THEY ARE IN CRISIS

1. Wala silang time ayusin ang gusot nilang dalawa. Busy sila making sure may food lagi sa table nila.

2. Hindi sila naniniwalang magkaka-ayos pa sila. 🤣

3. Ayaw nilang makarinig ng tungkol sa Diyos o Bible.

4. Hindi nila pagkakakitaan ang counseling kahit matuto pa sila. 😁

5. Baka bolahin lang daw sila ng "counselor" o "therapist".

6. Dahil idadaan lang sila sa prayers ng mga pastor o pari na "marriage counselors" kuno at walang alam sa "science" ng marriage.

7. Hindi sila ready o willing gumastos para sa counseling o therapy. Pero pag mayaman sila at daming properties at mga anak na paghahatian, lawyers ang mas gusto nilang kausap, hindi ang therapist o counselor. Why? Because ipaglalaban ang karapatan daw niya. Si lawyer naman, papatunayan niya sa madlang pipol kung gaano siya kahusay na "abogado". Para mas dumami pa clients. 😁

8. Takot mapag-usapan ang kanilang mga pagkukulang sa isa't-isa.

9. Takot masisi o masermunan sa mga maling nagawa nila.

10. Hindi pa willing o ready na magbago siya o itama ang mga maling pag-uugali at habits niya. Not yet because, hindi pa nagsi-sink in sa kanya na may mga mali siya. 😁

So these are the top 10 valid reasons nila kung bakit hindi lucrative ang business ng "marriage o family counseling" sa Pilipinas at bihira ang interesadong maging "counselor" sa larangan na ito. Why? Walang pera sa industry ng "marriage counseling".

Pero sa legal industry, may pera. Kaya maraming nag-aaspire maging abogado. Why? Dahil maraming buhay ang nasisira sa Pilipinas. Maraming tahanan ang nawawasak. Maraming mata ang lumuluha sa mga Pilipino. Maraming puso ang nasusugatan. Why? Dahil sa kamangmangan ng mas nakararaming Pilipino.

YES, DIVORCE IS YOUR "HUMAN RIGHTS"

But your "rights" has a twin brother: it is called "DUTY". The law also calls it "OBLIGATIONS".

You have a duty to decide how to ensure your happiness & freedom before you commit yourself into marriage.

This divorce bill, if makalusot sa mga "conservative Christians" or religious people, should satisfy only those who are claiming for such "human rights". If may anak kang binata o dalaga pa at malaki pa ang chance mong i-guide sila sa tamang pag-aasawa, do you think they would claim for this "human rights" that you are claiming? No, ikaw lang may kailangan nun. 😁

So, pagbigyan ninyo yang mga divorce advocates, then that law should lapse or expire into a certain period after claiming such rights.

Because the next generations don't need it. They would only need it (too) if you fail to give them the RIGHT guide when choosing the RIGHT lifetime partner. Because namamana talaga ang sumpa o kamangmangan in four (4) generations according to the Holy Scriptures. ☺️

..you can't say to a person that he is wrong and that he should be the one admitting it first?

Because when you tell the person he is wrong, you are supposed to have conducted your due diligence already. In the absence of your due diligence, you are judging the person based solely on your feelings.

Feelings are never used as a legal or moral basis for judgment, or there would be disorder. That even our court judges never base their decisions on any one's feelings whether someone was hurt or not. Only when someone's rights under the law have been violated. They can only judge a person after a "due process".

The bottom line is, we have no right to tell others they are WRONG, even if it's your spouse. It should be the concerned person, after encouraging him to think about what he has done, who should admit later that he is WRONG, not you, so you won't be tagged as "judgmental". 🤗
