The tree planting activity has been a truly big contribution to our Mother Earth— Municipal Youth Development Council led a significant Tree-Planting.

As we planted trees yesterday, we planted a new hope. Us, the grade 10 students, let's grow trees as we grow and move on another obstacles of our lives.

Here are the Official List of Qualified Candidates for SSLG Election S.Y. 2024-2025.

The campaign will begin on May 6 and run until May 8. Determine, take action, and consider your vote in light of their qualifications.

The SSLG Election is getting closer and closer! The Baras National High School Supreme Seconday Learner Government (SSLG) will be conducting activities in relation to election of officers for S.Y. 2024-2025, with the schedule of activities as follows:

April 22, 2024 - Issuance of Certificate of Candidacy
Arpil 24-26, 2024 - Filing of Candidacy
April 29-30, 2024 - Evaluation of COC vis-à-vis Qualifications and Disqualifications
May 2, 2024 - Announcement of the Official List of Candidates
May 6-8, 2024 - Campaign Period
May 9, 2024 - Election Day (5 minutes of voting during the first period time)
May 10, 2024 - Proclamation of Winners
May 11, 2024 - Nomination of SSLG Adviser
May 13, 2024 - Oath taking Ceremony
TBA - District and Division Federation Election of SSLG

In relation to the abovementioned schedule of activities, the following schedules campaign are as follows:

Campaign for Grade 7-9

Ten (10) minutes will be given to each party to conduct their room-to-room campaign during AP time. For BNHS Annex, both parties will have the chance to do a campaign for the morning and afternoon sessions.

Election Day

On May 9, 2024, students will cast their votes for the next SSLG Officers by ballots. Five (5) minutes during AP class will be used by the SSLG Election. AP teachers will facilitate the election and SSLG members from Grade 10 will act as COMELEC.
