Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech)
On June 21, 2024 (Friday), 1:00p.m., the NEU-Rizal Branch College of Agriculture (COAg) conducted a Lecture on “Improved Technologies in the Processing and Mechanization of Major Staple Crops”. The lecturer was Bro. Donald V. Mateo, PhilMech Senior Science Research Specialist. It was attended by the students, Administrative and Academic Officials, Faculty and Staff members of the COAg.
Career Guidance Orientation
On June 21, 2024 (Friday), 9:00a.m., the NEU-Rizal Branch College of Agriculture in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Center (GCC) and the Center for Community Extension and Linkages (CCEL) conducted a Career Guidance Orientation at the Conference Room of the Brgy. Pinugay, Baras, Rizal. It was participated by some Administrative and Academic Officials and Staff members. The event was attended by some Brgy. Officials and youths in the Barangay.
NEU 49th Founding Anniversary
NEU-Rizal Branch (Administrators, Faculty, and Staff) participated in the activities of the New Era University on June 14, 2024 as part of the celebration of its 49th Founding Anniversary (1975-2024) highlighted by a Special Worship Service at the Local Congregation of Luzon, Ecclesiastical District of Central.

1st College Recognition
On May 21, 2024 (Tuesday), three (3) major academic activities were held simultaneously in the College of Agriculture – 4th NSTP Graduation, Certificate of Agricultural Science (CAS) Distribution, and 1st College Recognition. It was attended by the Academic and Administrative Officials with Bro. Rowel R. Rillera, NSTP and TESDC Director, as a Resource Speaker.
College of Nursing (CON) Outreach Activity
The New Era University-College of Nursing (NEU-CON) held an Outreach Activity at NEU-Rizal Branch on May 11, 2024 (Saturday). It was attended by 16 Nursing students and their Professors led by the CON Dean, Prof. Loyda Amor N. Cajucom, R.N., M.A.N., Prof. Emma Morta, Prof. Gemma Laña, and Prof. Cielo Tereza B. Rezada.
The first part of the activity was the blood sugar testing and blood pressure measurements and the second part was the seminar on various topics on health problems.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
In light of the most recent declaration of the Department of Education, classes in all levels across the University (Main Campus and the four Branches) will temporarily shift to online classes on April 15 and 16, 2024.
Classes on Monday (April 15, 2024) will be delivered via SYNCHRONOUS MODE, while Tuesday classes (April 16, 2024) will be held in ASYNCHRONOUS MODE.
Faculty are given the option whether to go to the University on Monday to conduct synchronous classes at the Campus grounds. However, all teachers are obligated to go to the University Campus grounds on Tuesday (April 16, 2024) to attend to other professional tasks. Staff are required to report to their respective departments on Monday and Tuesday.

University Officials’ Branch Visitation
On April 2, 2024 (Tuesday), the University Officials conducted a Branch Visitation. The team was composed of the following:

2. Bro. Edmario M. Reyes (BOT Member and CSD Director)
3. Bro. Julian J. Meimban III. Ph.D. (VP for Research)
4. Bro. Isaias B. Reyes II (VP for Administration)
5. Dr. Simonnette B. Leoncio (VP for Academic Affairs)
6. Bro. Artemio T. Suela (University Auditor)
7. Bro. Dan S. De Leon (HRD Director)
8. Sis. Irene Nepomuceno (CSD Asst. Director)
Together with them were Bro. Valentino E. Gagelonia Jr. (Head, INC Horticulture Dept.) and Dr. Perigio B. Francisco Jr. (OIC Dean, COAg) and other two (2) CSD Staff members.
The visit marked success and more improvements ahead in academic endeavors of NEU Rizal Branch College of Agriculture.
NEU-Fair 2024 Grand Kick-Off
NEU-Rizal Branch College of Agriculture sent BSA student-delegates to participate in the NEU-Fair 2024 Grand-Kick Off in the Main Campus on March 15, 2024.
The students were led by Bro. Meliton T. Reyes Jr. (Ministrong Tagasubaybay and OSAS Coordinator), Bro. RJ F. Aquino (Guidance Coordinator), and Bro. Kenneth Pole G. Raymundo (Branch Chronicler and Multimedia Coordinator).
LOOK: According to EduRank, New Era University ranks 4th in Quezon City and 70th in the Philippines as 'Best University', with 72 scientific papers and 60 citations across various disciplines.
