How heavy is the Interlocking Brick?

Brick weighs 4 to 5 KILOS Each.

If 1 square meter wall utilizes 40 bricks. Then the total weight of that wall would be 1600-2000 kilos combined.

That will be 40 sacks of rice (50 kilo sack).

This makes the Strong-Lock Brick LOAD-BEARING.

What are materials used?

High quality interlocking bricks are made of soil, cement and water mixed together in appropriate proportions.

Brick by Brick sells interlocking bricks, which are the enhanced form of conventional clay bricks. Each brick is constructively designed to lock itself to the other bricks around. The self-locking is achieved using shear-key and lock mechanism. Based on the design, the shape of shear-key will vary and a complimentary lock is provided on the opposite side of brick. Interlocking bricks are compressed and stabilized earth bricks which contributes to strength of the structure.
