March is Colore**al Cancer Awareness Month

ng screening. Dapat magsimulang magpa-screen para sa colore**al cancer kapag ikaw ay 45 na taong gulang na. Importanteng alalahanin na kahit yung mga mas bata pa sa 45 na taong gulang ay maaari ring magkaroon ng colore**al cancer.

Hi! Just an update po. Last Thursday Feb 23, when we were cleaning our mom’s colostomy bag, we were shocked when we saw that it was filled with blood. Blood is around 100-150ml. It happened twice at 5am and 7am. We called her doctors and they advised us to go to the hospital to have our mom checked. She was confined at Metro Rizal Doctors Hospital and got discharged earlier today. CT Scan & lab results are all good! Our mom went back home feeling better & stronger. Praise God! 🙏

She was supposed to have her chemo today. Days before, she was not feeling so well. If this incident didn’t happen and we still pushed through with the chemo today, it may end up having a negative impact on her condition and make things worse.
God’s delay is indeed God’s protection.
His ways are higher than our ways & His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Thank you for your prayers! God is good! Our mom’s second chemo session will be this coming saturday, March 3. Let us all continue to pray for strength & continuous healing. God bless us all 💛

Good morning everyone! We are happy to share that a family friend and a relative helped us so we can do our mom’s chemotherapy in a public hospital where there will be lesser expense compared to the initial plan of doing it in a private hospital. Our mom will be starting her (first) chemotherapy this Saturday, Feb 4.

To those who have sent financial help, we were able to use some to pay for the hospital bill balance, meds/supplements, etc. We will use the remaining for other possible expenses (PET Scan etc.) during our mom’s chemo sessions.

Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support during this time. We are grateful to have all of you in this season of our lives 💛
