Isang malugod na pagbati para sa mga mag-aaral na nagwagi sa patimpalak (Quiz Bee) nitong nagdaang linggo ng Media and Information Literacy (MIL), Marso 11, 2024.

Nasungkit ng mga mag-aaral mula sa 12 ICT ang unang pwesto na kinabibilangan nina Charles Vincent Manalo, Steven Mathew Roxas, at Amira Jasmine Valerio.

Samantala, nakuha naman ang ikalawang pwesto ng 12 HUMSS-A na sina Benedict Legason, Mark Razel Arostique, at si Nicole Patricia Pasumbal.

Nakamit naman nina John Adriane Bautista, Christhie Denise De Leon, at Ernestina Saldaña mula sa 12 ABM-B ang ikatlong karangalan.

With the Senior High School Department, the Closing Salvo at LCC-C Quadrangle celebrated the completion of the successful school year on April 16, 2024. The event commenced with a vibrant parade showcasing each section's Hawaiian outfit per strand, setting a festive atmosphere for the gathering.

Following the parade, the program transitioned into engaging activities where the Student Council led an icebreaker session that brought laughter and camaraderie among the attendees. This was followed by an entertaining game show hosted by Adeodatus, adding an element of friendly competition to the celebration.

The program progressed with LMS (La Consolacion Music Society), and Sayawit at Kultura Club's intermission number, adding flair and cultural richness to the audiences.

Awards were also given for the Best Outfit in each strand and to the SHS faculty, recognizing the students' and teachers' creativity.

Amidst the festivities, the event's highlight was the solidarity dance performance, symbolizing unity and togetherness within the school community.

Depicting different emotions through an impressive selection of hues and flawless rendering. Art has been a passion of Aeonix, as he emphasizes his view that creating pieces should be a fun process.

Aeonix is known for his landscapes and character illustrations, mostly showcasing nostalgic sceneries and digital paintings featuring some places in the Philippines. And as a guest speaker at the Career Talk 2024 at La Consolacion College-Caloocan, he brings a wealth of experience and insight to eager learners.

With 216,000 on Facebook, Aeonix's influence extends far beyond his artworks. He stands as a model for aspiring illustrators, reminding them that dreams are within reach with dedication and perseverance.

Through his engaging talk, he not only educates but also ignites a fire of creativity, urging everyone to find joy in the artistic journey.

"𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒌 2024"

La Consolacion College-Caloocan proudly hosted an engaging Career Talk event on April 8, 2024, at AVR and Mo. Consuelo Convention Center.

Distinguished professionals shared valuable insights, guiding the students in their career paths, while LCCians actively participated, enriching the discussions and promoting knowledge exchange.

A highly contagious disease called “whooping cough” or Pertussis is perpetuating in the country, particularly in Quezon City, as it declared an outbreak there on March 21, 2024. The disease is a respiratory tract infection that affects teenagers, babies, pregnant women, people with respiratory illnesses, and children.

The disease is transmitted through face-to-face contact when the person infected coughs or sneezes, the contaminated droplets could be inhaled. It can also spread through indirect contact by touching items that the infected person uses. Its symptoms are runny nose, nasal congestion, dry cough, and mild fever that can be felt in 5 to 10 days.

It could cause difficulty in breathing and uncontrollable coughing since symptoms might worsen in 1-2 weeks. The symptoms might last up to 10 weeks which could lead to complications like pneumonia if not treated properly.

The Department of Health (DOH) has stated that despite the ongoing epidemic, people should prepare and not worry, as there are solutions already at hand for the said disease. Treatment for it can be initiated with antibiotics under the consultation of a doctor.

However, preventing the disease is a more effective approach to reducing the number of cases. This can be achieved by practicing good hygiene, such as washing hands with soap and water, getting pertussis vaccination, staying hydrated, and maintaining an environment free from triggers that could cause a cough.

Writing a letter is completely free. This option is for those who want to post their letter on our page. It can be anonymous, or you can use your code name. When you fill out our form and answer no, it will be automatically posted on our page.

𝑶𝑷𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 2
By selecting this option, your message will be printed and delivered personally. This option only costs 15 pesos, which you can pay via GCash, Paymaya, or directly to the Adeodatus booth.This will be given through a printed letter that is put inside an envelope. This option is not allowed to post your letter, and only your chosen person will read it.

Reminder: All entries sent, no matter the option chosen, can be selected to be read on broadcast on Monday.
