A hearty congratulations to John David Coming from Catmon Integrated School and Joseph Nicolas Tan from Bagalnga Elementary School, both members of Catmon Chess Club, for achieving 9th place among 41 teams in the recent provincial meet held at Notre Dame San Fernando, Cebu from March 3-8, 2024. Your remarkable performance is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Kudos to your proud parents for their unwavering support in your chess journey. Keep up the excellent work, young chess champions!

Congratulations to Riwa Mae Luardo, a Grade 5 student of Cabungaan Elementary School and a proud member of the Catmon Chess Club, has achieved an impressive feat by securing the 6th place out of 76 participants in the recent Provincial Meet last March 3-8, 2024 held at Notre Dame Academy in San Fernando, Cebu. Additionally, her team managed to secure the 6th position out of 38 competing teams. This remarkable accomplishment is even more noteworthy given that Riwa Mae was trained for only 1 and a half months. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Riwa Mae and her proud coach, Maam Juliet Roldan Duran, for their hard work and dedication to the sport. 👏
