How Valuable Stitch Started...

One boring day during the lockdown in 2020, I tried to crochet at home when I remembered how I loved to cross stitch when I was younger. I tried looking for affordable personalized cross stitch but all the shops I found were out of my price range. Then I tried researching how I can do it on my own.

I studied how to make patterns, looked for different suppliers, ordered small batches of supplies to test everything, created a design and stitched it to see if the design resembles the photo. And all of these took me months. Months of product research without any source of income, and I super thank my boyfriend back then, now my husband, for always supporting my ideas and for letting me work on something I am passionate about. A lot of people around me urged me to find a ""real job"", something that pays the bills, but there he is, urging me to get more stocks and continue working on this idea that I really love (and he even helps me with packing orders).

It was surely a difficult start for us, but it was all worth it because a lot of people liked the product. I love how all of this started with me just looking for an affordable personalized cross stitch and now it also helps crafty people out there to have a cross stitch of their family's portraits.
