•SKY• is the limit

This morning lang when Sky woke up, he directly went to the sala. First time to see him bringing the booklets from the shelf unya iyang gitapad just to browse them all.

Usually when he scrolls down the pages kay 1 booklet lng and then done. Now kay tanan gyud iya gi tagsa tagsa.

He may be non-verbal but I know few and some words he can read it silently gyud.

Hoping one day he can read it all out loud. I BELIEVE ONE DAY HE WILL.🔊🙏💙🌈

This is a good sign na he is starting to open books.👍

Well this was just early this morning before po sya naligo kay naa pa sya class. Nasuko sya kay ako usa sya gipa stop to take a bath. He was very frustrated kay dili niya mahuman. But we need to kay mao ni one of the reasons why ma late mi sometimes sa school.😅 What he started it really needs to be done gyud. Mao ni batasan sa kids with ASD.😊

---LINING OF TOYS.

This is how Sky would pile things... up until now since 2 years old. Back then, we thought it's just how he would play and as if he's a well organized baby. But kids are supposed to be in so much clutter.😅

He gets frustrated whenever one is missing, or worse if one tries to play or participate in doing it.

Today, gusto ko lang e share one of the most awaited moments... After so many tries, so much patience.... after 7 long years--- we are FINALLY FREE OF DIAPER USAGE.🙏😭

No more ihi on the bed. Worst is no more p**p on his briefs and shorts. LORD DAGHANG SALAMAT.🙏😭

Last night was the first time Sky did go to the comfort room alone and sat on the bowl to p**p......🙏🙌

Pagkadungog nako nga iya gi close ang door sa cr dali dali ko ug dagan kay abi nko ug motago nasad didto ug malibang sa iya briefs. Kay sa ka daghang higayon najud nahitabo na mg p**p sya sa iyang briefs kay I am not giving him diapers since last month because aside sa wala nay paigo niya nga size sa diapers, I really want to achieve nga sa bowl nagyud sya mg p**p. Ako nani gibuhat way back pa but failed so many times kay Sky was not yet ready. (By phase gyud ang readiness sa bata in case some you didnt know esp kids under the spectrum)

So, As I opened the door last night na shock ko naglingkod sa bowl and nag p**p. Iya ko gitukmod pagawas sa door kay wala pa sya nahuman. So ngwait ko sa gawas until mahuman sya. It took us 3 days na wala gyud sya kalibang kay dili ko mo give in for diaper use. Usually mm gud if gusto na sya mg p**p mgkuha na sya diaper and ipa wear. But I was really firm to not give up bahala 3 days sya wala ka p**p. 3 days yes and butod na kaayo iya tiyan.😅 But It's worth it!!!🙌🙌🙌

Kahibaw mo sa struggle sa parents when their child still uses diapers, bisan nalapas na sa appropriate age na dapat dili na mg use ug diapers. The cleaning and all.... grabeh... Nya we are judged sa mga tao na keso wala gi disiplina ug sayo blah blah blah. Please spare us from all your judgements... You do not know how we feel unless you have a son/daughter under the spectrum.

My prayers are heard one by one... Salamat kaayo Lord!!! I always prayed to God na just guide me to have more patience, more love more understanding for my son. Bahala wala nay para akoa Lord. Mao jd na ako pirme e ampo. Bahala na walay maabot nindot para akoa. Basta para lng kay Sky.

Hi guys!

Today is their first Friday mass in school for this month of February.

And as per Sky's teacher (Teacher Lance), Sky was able to sit still the whole period and very behave daw.😯💙

Before, one of the most challenging times for us with Sky is to linger. He has very short tolerance for waiting and sitting down. Now slowly his patience were tested.😅

More waiting please...😁😁😁

While I’m seated across SKY, I am very amazed to witness him arranging the letters and for the first time to see Sky perfectly identity the capital & small letters of the alphabet.

These educational toys are worth the purchase. I know one day you’d be able to use it instead of messing everything around.😆🤣🥲
