Gloria: "Oh, just the same things I do. I think if he has been in the moon for so long, I think when he comes over he wants to change, I guess."

Gloria Díaz entered and won Binibining Pilipinas 1969 (She was aged 18, while studying in college). Díaz then entered and won Miss Universe 1969, at Miami Beach, Florida, U.S. on July 19, 1969.
