As the Lord travels back to the City from Bethany , the Lord noticed a Fig Tree with exceptional leaves. Searching to find fruit and sees none, the Lord curses the tree. With astonishment, the disciples observe the tree slowly withering, as it happens the Lord mentions that "Even a mustard-size faith is sufficient to move mountains when it aligns with the Father's will - an interjection to them that their faith in him will be tested in the coming days.

As they arrive in the City then to the Temple, via the courtyard, the Lord As part of prophesy, the Lord pronounced a symbolic judgment upon the irreverence for the Lord’s house of prayer. Seeing the Commercialism and greed had altered the character of the Temple. Currency (temple money), used to purchase sacrifices, was subject to extortion. Jesus chose to clean out the Temple one last time (the first was recorded via John 2:13-17). In righteous indignation, “He who comes in the name of the Lord,”overturned the moneychangers’ tables and benches in the outer court of the Gentiles.

After the "Cleansing" and the chaos the followed, the Lord continued healing the blind and the Lame that came to Him.
Also in attendance were children who knew him came and gave him praise by chanting “Hosanna, Hosanna, to the Son of David.” To which earned the ire of some Pharisees which "urged" the Lord to censure the children, lest they commit an "offense" to which the Lord replies "Have you never read, From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise’?”
As the day drew to its close, the Lord then returned back to Bethany to rest.
