There's a certain feeling that makes January a special month

It's the beginning of some things new. We look at our life in its newest state. We press this start button with an absolute affirmation that we will do better this time. Failed to achieve goals last year? We do better this year. Didn't accomplish all the things we were supposed to? Didn't reach the deadline? We do better this year.

We look at January in its freshest state. This month welcomes us with this green light signifying that we better start making our dreams into reality. We try to hold on to our resolutions and actually perform them.

But there's a certain feeling that makes January a sentimental month. It's the beginning of something new. It's the first month of the year and it means leaving the past behind, it means that another year has passed, it means that I'm a year older, and it signifies that I'm still here. January reminds us of all the best versions we've been last year - the strongest and most hopeful.

We don't know what this year will make us and where it will take us, but may we take it lightly. Let the past be in the past and the future be uncertain. We are in the present and there's no better time to actually experience the life we know we really deserve than now.

And if we fail to do better this January, February is a great month to start.
