Coffee and Cries

I will always remember the people who stayed even in my silence.

This one’s for the women.

The women who had to move out from their home because they already have a family of their own.
I know that sometimes it strikes you, it aches your heart to be away from your mom and dad, and your siblings no matter how many catfights you were into. I know that it’s hard sometimes to accept that things won’t be the way it was before and that it pains you to leave home somehow. I know that the heavy heart sometimes makes you cry that you want to come home and be back at your room with your speakers on and your pink and black themed wallpaper that keeps you sane. I know it’s hard, and it’s really sad that you can’t do anything about the change that’s happening. But you will get through the lonely nights, and these will all make sense one day.

To all the women who are away from their families, cheers! It won’t always be this sad. 🖤

It’s been years. But why does it still hurt the same?

Why does a lie lead to cheating?
Why does a simple Hi turn into something romantic?

How do you heal your emotional wound? How do you start again after having your heart broken? How do you convince yourself to trust people again?

I miss the calmness we had.
I miss how peaceful we were back then.
I miss our splashes, our small and big waves.
I miss how we would love to stay under the sun, and how we would simply stare at the sunset.

I miss us.

But you kept on doing things that make her sad.
You say you’re sorry and then do it again until she couldn’t shed a tear anymore.

You said you wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.

But you raised your hand on her and slapped her like she wasn’t a human, like she wasn’t a lady, like she wasn’t the mother of your children.

You said you wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.

So she stayed silent, kept things to herself because she was trying to protect you despite what you’ve done to her.

You said you wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.

You didn’t hurt her. You killed her all along.

We are all going through so much. Is it really that hard to be just kind?

What may seem easy for you might be difficult to somebody else. And while you feel like your job is more exhausting than anyone else’s, someone else is trying real hard on his job.

Life is full of surprises, and challenges, so please just be kind.
