Nagtungo po tayo sa Davao City ngayong araw upang makibahagi sa quarterly meeting ng Office of the Vice President na pinapangunahan ni VP Inday Sara Duterte.

Hindi po tayo titigil sa paghanap ng paraan para mas marami pa ang matulungan na nangangailangan.

Patuloy po nating mahalin ang Pilipinas!👊🦅

Kasama po natin ang ating Pangalawang Pangulo Sara Z. Duterte sa ginanap na 2023 Planning Conference and Team Building ng Office of the Vice President kasama ang iba pang Satellite Offices mula sa iba't ibang panig ng bansa.

Passing the mantle of leadership! At the January Board of Directors Meeting, 2022 JCI President Argenis Angulo was able to pass the Chain of Office to 2023 JCI President Viktor Ómarsson. 2019 JCI President Alexander Tio and I, 2018 JCI President, helped to facilitate the ceremony.

Kung matatandaan po natin, iyong dating anyo nitong P*P station 6 ay dilapidated at hindi presentable na magamit bilang isang P*P station. At dahil ang lugar po nito ay napakalapit sa biggest tourist attraction dito sa Dagupan, minabuti po nating na i-ayos ito.

If there's one thing that I think about everyday, about Mayor BSL, it's that I want to make him proud. I want to make him proud in honor of him for serving the city.

Maligayang kaarawan po, Sen. B**g Go!

Nakibahagi po tayo sa Flag Ceremony ngayong araw kasama ang ating mga kasamahan sa city hall at sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno.

Alam niyo po, life is about moving forward all the time. When a door closes, an opportunity opens. And, who knows what brighter opportunity awaits us all in the next few years to come.

I hope na maging masaya po tayo with everyday that the Lord has bestowed upon us, to live a life for others.

Please allow me to thank each and every one of you. Sa lahat ng ating mga department heads, regular employees, job order employees, PNP, BFP at ibang national government employees. Itong past three years ay hindi po naging madali sa ating lahat, napakahirap po ng ating pinagdaanang pandemya.

Alam niyo po, during my years in JCI, I’ve written down things that I’ve learned along the way. And, I want to share some of those to you. Una, government is ourselves -- galing po ito kay former US President Franklin Roosevelt. Ibig sabihin po, kung paano po ang ating pagkatao bilang kawani ng gobyerno, kung paano po tayo magtrabaho, kung paano po tayo makitungo sa kapwa, ‘yan po ang magiging reflection ng ating mahal na lungsod.

Ako naman ay naniniwala na basta tayo po ay maging dedicated sa ating mga trabaho ay hindi po tayo dapat mawalan ng pag-asa. Dapat lang po ay manggaling sa puso yung ating mga effort bilang mga kawani ng gobyerno.

Sana po itatak po natin ito sa ating puso at isipan. Government is ourselves.

This brings me squarely to another quote I would like to share with you by Mahatma Ghandi when he said "Be the change you want to see in this world." Ibig sabihin, kung gusto nating baguhin ang mundo, dapat baguhin muna natin ang ating sarili. Importante po iyan.

One of the things that I also wrote here that I would like to share with you is that "The right attitude for success: First, we have to know our purpose. We have to grow to reach our maximum potential. And we have to create opportunities for others."

The government is really nothing more than creating opportunities for others.

Everything that we do, not only in government but in life, is to create opportunities for others. Why? Hindi po tayo nabubuhay para lang sa ating sarili. Ang mga mahihina na tao, iyan po ang mga nabubuhay para lang sa kanilang sarili, for their own egos and for their own pride. Hindi po dapat ganun. We have to continue to live everyday for others... more specifically, creating opportunities for others.

Paulit-ulit ko pong sinasabi ito: The people may not remember what you have done. The people may not recognize what you have done. The people may not thank you for what you have done, but that does not matter. What truly matters is that it came from your heart with the correct intention.

As long as iyan po ang gagawin natin for each day we are given to live in this wonderful world, then I think we will be okay.

Huwag po kayong mag-alala. Hindi naman po ako lilipat ng residence. Taga-Dagupan lang din po ako. Magkikita pa rin po tayo, somewhere, somehow, at balang araw.

I hope when the time comes that we see each other again, it will be because we have discovered more about ourselves and we have discovered the better version of ourselves.

We will see each other again. That I am very very sure. May God bless you all. I thank you once again. Mabuhay po ang Siyudad ng Dagupan. Mabuhay tayong lahat. Maraming, maraming salamat po.
