"ang mahal naman niyan! madali lang naman yan eh."

"overpriced naman. ang mura lang ng yarn eh!"

"bakit dun sa isang pinagtanungan ko mura lang? ba't sayo ang mahal?"

"pwede bang 50 na lang yan? madali lang naman yan gawin eh"

"ba't ang tagal gawin? eh kaya yang tapusin ng isang araw lang eh."

"ako na lang bibili materyales mo tapos di na ako magbabayad ng labor. pwede ganun na lang?"

"wala bang presyong kaibigan diyan? di man lang mag discount to oh!"

these are just some sentiments I experienced, some, I came across. bakit nga ba nasa pricey side ang crocheted items?

our craft is not easy. spend 1 hr doing our craft, siguro magrereklamo ka sa sakit ng kamay at batok mo and then that's how you'll understand that the beauty of crochet comes with hard work, patience, time, and pain.

Q1: bakit sa shopee 150 lang? ang mahal ng sa'yo!
A: edi kung mura sa shopee, dun ka bumili. but don't expect that the quality from that "mura" is the same as the quality of the items we made, handmade. mostly yung mga binebenta sa shopee machine made. although, walang crochet machine na kayang i-replicate yung intricate stitches ng crochet, ang machine na ginagamit nila ay for knitting hindi crocheting. plus the yarn used on that "mura" is not as good as the yarn we, crocheters, use.

Q2: ang mahal naman niyan! madali lang naman yan eh.
A: kung namamahalan ka, 'wag kang bumili. hindi madali ang crochet. yes, it might look easy, but trust me, it is not. there's more than just yarning over. crocheting comes with back, nape, and hand pain. some crocheters develop repetitive strain injury (if you don't know it, search it.) imagine doing every single stitches just to complete a project.

Q3: overpriced naman. ang mura lang ng yarn eh!
A: hello? materials pa lang mahal na. there is a yarn intended for every project and iba-iba ang presyo ng mga 'yun. the greater the quality, the more expensive the yarn is. saka hindi namin makukumpleto ang orders niyo with just one ball of yarn. we need lots! plus, the price varies depending on the project. kung malaki yan, expect na mahal yan.

Q4: bakit dun sa isang pinagtanungan ko mura lang? ba't sayo ang mahal?
A: easy answer, 'dun ka magpagawa sa pinagtanungan mo. every crocheter has a different rate. ihalimbawa natin ang isang make-up artist, may iba't ibang rate ang mga yan. dipende sa make-up nila and services. ganyan din kada crocheter. iba-iba ang rate namin. iba-ibang materyales na ginagamit. iba-ibang services.

Q5: pwede bang 50 na lang yan? madali lang naman yan gawin eh.
A: again, hindi madali ang crocheting as i've stated. 50 pesos gusto mo? sige ako pa bumili ng yarn mo tapos ikaw na lang gumawa. deal?

Q6: ba't ang tagal gawin? eh kaya yang tapusin ng isang araw lang eh.
A: crocheting takes time. dipende sa laki ng project yung tagal ng pag gawa niya. minsan inaabot ng ilang araw lang if maliit lang yung project. yung iba inaabot ng linggo, yung iba inaabot pa ng buwan. siguro if kasing bilis mo si flash, you can finish it within a day or two.

Q7: ako na lang bibili materyales mo tapos di na ako magbabayad ng labor. pwede ganun na lang?
A: fine, buy my materials. pero hindi ka magbabayad ng labor? huwag na. mapapagod lang ako. kahit naman nakaupo lang ang pagcocrochet, nakakapagod din yun, no. hello? respeto naman hehe.

A: wala! business is business. magbibigay ako ng discount pag gusto ko hindi yung mamanduhan mo ko.
