🕊MGA MALING ATTITUDE NG BABAE SA BIBLIYA NA DAPAT IWASAN.

Kapatid, this is not how we should always encourage or talk to someone that is hurting and losing hope. I know that Jesus is still the greatest physician, personal devotion and worship are still the best for our spirit and soul, our faith can still make it happen, but then again, please consider that there are days when pain is bigger than faith, and the hurt is stronger than hope.

Let me tell you today, many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are still faithful with their prayers and devotions; in fact, many of them are drowning in tears sa kanilang mga panalangin kay Lord na maging okay sila, but their healing and restoration are not there yet. Please don’t accuse them of probable “shortcomings” to what they are going through, for it will not encourage them.

“Even the mighty fall and fail.”

Look, Elijah was strong and mighty, yet still gone through fear and deep sadness, and even wished he was dead.

“Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.””
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭19:3-4‬ ‭

Most of the time, a hurting soul needs a listening ear rather than beautiful words.

A tired mind needs resting, not another beating. A hurting heart needs healing, not another painful scratching.

Don’t just encourage them to pray, but let them know that you’re praying for them, and much better if you pray with them.

Don’t just tell them to have faith, but let your strong faith strengthen their faith.

Be there. Be involved. Listen more, talk less.

I, Pastor Peej Delima, is speaking in behalf of the people i personally know and love, and going through some hardships in life right now; friends who can’t speak of their real and current emotional, mental, and spiritual states; friends that instead of being encouraged, are being discouraged; friends who feels that their presence are only sought when they are needed; friends who right now are feeling lost, yet no one seems to seek.

We are the ambassadors of Christ. Let us be His living body, always ready to love, embrace, and restore. ❤️

Ephesians 2:8-9 says,
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

Remember this:
God never sends you in a situation alone. He goes before you, stands beside you, and walks with you.

You might feel lost now, but great things are coming your way.

He is a God that never gets tired in doing good to you. 🙏🏻

"DON'T LET FEAR IN. Again."

BES, NEVER AGAIN.

Read Psalms 56 and Meditate on it.
It's an antidote for Fear. And it will give your confidence back again.

Don't let fear in again. Harangan mo ng Faith.

KUNG MATATAKOT NA LANG DIN TAYO, TAKOT SA DIYOS ANG I-DEVELOP MO!

Isang paalala, Anak ka ng Diyos! Huwag ka matakot sa mundo!
Dahil when God is on your side, Who can go against you?

WALAAAA

I mean, there's something void within your heart na di mo alam paano ito solusyonan. You feel so depressed and lost —filled with darkness and confusions. Everything is in chaos na di mo alam kung saan mo simulang ayusin.

And here's my advise dear 🙂 MAYBE you feel so empty because God is no longer your priority. Wag ka sanang magalit but this is reality. It was proven and tested that it's only Jesus alone who can satisfy our souls — hindi yung pera o kahit ano mang ambisyon mo sa buhay.

The reason is maybe, God is no longer part of your schedule 💔 Sobra mo nang busy na minsan nakakalimutan mo nang kausapin si Lord.

Why not take a rest “again”. Worship Him as if it was your last time to worship God. Acknowledge that apart from God your are nothing. Humble down…Kneel down… Cry out… Read God’s word again — like a child who’s hungry to learn more. Be desperate to hear the voice of God “again” 😊 He is just waiting for your availability.

So don't be so trying hard to fix yourself — allow God to fix you.

"For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God."
(1 Peter 1:18-19)

Your heart needs Jesus 🙂 I tell you, it’s not shameful to go back into your basic christian lifestyle again. Just talk to your Father in Heaven and His arms are wide open to restore you.

Speak to the One who’s breathe brings life — speak unto God 🍃 Shalom!

In this life, whether you are a Christian or not, sufferings will still be there. Yes! Accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour doesn’t mean we’ll no longer experience sickness, heartbreak, depression, family or financial problems, failures, or any hardships in this life - no, definitely not.

What we will suffer as an unbeliever will still be our sufferings as a believer, and vice versa. But my friend, yes, having Jesus in our lives will not exempt us from any sufferings, but His power and presence will make a huge difference than having Him not!

In Him we have hope, strength, courage, supply, covering, miracles, and elevation! He is our Lord, our Saviour, and our Friend. He is all that we need in good times or in bad!

That’s why, yes, it’s better to live this life having Christ! We face the same problems like the unbelievers are facing, but we are facing it all with our living God! And with that, we know we can overcome all things because He already won it all for us; He is our strength and shield!

My friend, today, take heart. ☝🏼❤️

Have you ever asked yourself kung bakit you feel so lost sometimes at hindi mo na alam ang gagawin sa small group or youth ministry na hinahawakan mo? 😢

It seems na walang nadadagdag and there are times that you doubt your ability or even worse, you question your calling?

Di ka nag-iisa.

Nung nagsisimula palang ako sa Youth Ministry I have all the disadvantages you can think of.

…I have no prior leadership skills at mahiyain ako.

…I have no formal training kaya wala akong idea paano ba talaga ibuild ang youth ministry.

…I only have limited budget para mag-reach out sa ibang mga young people.

…I don’t have the connection kung saan pa meron pang pwedeng imbatihin na mga youth.

…I don’t have the resources I need.

Ilan lang yan sa mga naging challenges ko when I started leading our youth ministry 10 years ago.

Because of these consistent questions & struggles, I decided to pause and listen.

Hindi sila nag-iisa.

Ganito ka rin ba ngayon? 😭😭😭

It is my desire to help struggling Youth Leaders & Youth pastors of small or pioneering churches to revive the youth ministry and build a “thriving” one.

…no matter how small…
…even from scratch…
…even with 10 students or less.

Or kahit tatlo na lang kayo ngayon. There’s still hope!!!

Dahil hindi naman lahat nagsisimula sa malaki. At hindi lahat ng youth leader ay alam na ang gagawin from the very beginning that we’re asked to do it.

One thing I discovered while serving God is - That he purposefully made us “THRIVE.” (flourish, grow, prosper and make an impact!)

What He wants is to revive you personally and revive your ministry! Because God planted you in your church now and appointed you to lead because He has a purpose.

Photoshop of the day - Press on.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

The goal of this picture was to show someone on the verge of finishing the race. Paul describes the Christian life as a long marathon, living each day for the Lord and getting closer to Him step by step. Even though we are saved, we aren't perfect yet. We strive on to finish this race, with our eyes fixed firmly on the prize. And that prize will be Christ Himself; to be with Him and to be like Him. What a moment that will be when we cross the finish line.

Hey! I hope you have this mindset na “Mawala man ang lahat, wag lang si Lord.” If you’re confident that with God, nothing is impossible — God must be your everything ✨ Kasi kung tutuusin, ang buhay natin ay hindi sapat para suklian lahat ng binigay ni Lord ❤️

If you have this mindset, you will learn to be still and know that He is God. The first step in reminding yourself that anything on this Earth is just temporary — at sana si Lord yung pondasyon kung bakit ka nabubuhay ngayon.

Stop focusing on things that will soon fade away, focus on what is eternal. Whatever you may have right now, it is just a bonus and I hope you’ll never stop thanking God — in season or out of season without any form of greediness 🪴

Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

I hope you’re primary fear is being afraid to be far from God — hindi yung mas takot ka kung may temporaring bagay na mawawala 🙃 This is a matured mindset, na kahit kunin man ang lahat sa’yo… You’ll still found yourself holding hands with the Lord — continue the journey no matter what it takes 🌱

Starting today, keep on declaring this phrase and you’ll see God’s intervention towards your life — above all, you’ll also see yourself with much greater faith than before.

Keep going dear 😇 Shalom!

Why a Christian cannot marry a non-Christian?

The first reason why believers cannot marry unbelievers is that the Bible forbids it. There are two primary New Testament texts that speak to the issue of marriage between a believer and an unbeliever. In his first letter to the Corinthian church, Paul says, after a detailed discussion of marriage and singleness, that a woman whose husband has died “is free to marry whomever she wishes, only in the Lord” (1 Cor. 7:39; emphasis added). The principle in this text is that where legitimate marriage can occur—the believer has never married, or they are released from their previous marriage by the death of a spouse—it can only occur between two believers.

The second text that offers clarity on this issue is 2 Corinthians 6:14 where Paul says, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.”
..The phrase “unequally yoked” refers to a close, intimate partnership—like marriage—where each person is meant to be “plowing” in the same direction, at the same speed, with the same purpose. Such a scenario can never occur for the Christian and the non-Christian. For a Christian to enter into marriage with an unbeliever, therefore, is not only an act of disobedience against their Lord, but it is also foolish.
..
Consider how this change affects every area of the Christian’s life and what basic differences now exist between you and your unbelieving boyfriend or girlfriend:

1. You have opposing masters (Matt. 6:24; Eph. 2:2).

2. You have opposing worldviews (Col. 2:2-8).

3. You have opposing sources of wisdom (Prov. 1:7).

4. You have opposing aims in life (1 Cor. 10:31).

5. You have opposite eternal destinies (Matt. 25:31-46).

6. You are in the Spirit; they are in the flesh (Rom. 8:6-9).

7. You are a slave to righteousness; they are a slave to sin (Rom. 6:20-23).

“SIN ZONE”

You don’t have to answer. but you can check your heart.

If you ask me, Yes I do… countless times and I’m not proud of it. That’s why I need God everyday.

(read 2 Samuel 11)

He could have stopped anytime, but he did’nt.

Same with us. Once maentertain natin yung isang temptation dahil sa nadadala na tayo nabubulag na tayo to the point na di na natin alam kung gaano na kalala yung mga kasalanang nagagawa natin. From a simple wrong desire na sinunod natin, it can grow into something na dangerous. (Read James 1:14-15)

1 Corinthians 10:13 ERV
[13] The only temptations that you have are the same temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to endure it.

Meaning…

He said that
(1) everyone faces temptation, so don’t feel like you’ve been singled out;
(2) others have resisted temptation, and so can you; and
(3) any temptation can be resisted,

because God will show you a way to resist it.
God will help you resist temptation by helping you
(1) recognize the people and situations that give you trouble,
(2) run from anything you know is wrong,
(3) choose to do only what is right,
(4) pray for God’s help, and
(5) seek friends or church leaders who love God and can offer help when you are tempted. Running from a tempting situation is your first step on the way to victory (see 2 Timothy 2:22).

- Life Application Bible

——

So there, isang paalala na seryoso ang temptation. Kapag hinayaan maaari kang dalin sa Sin Zone.

SEEK GOD, REPENT, PRAY, ASK HIM FOR HELP and when you put your trust in Him, He will help you..
