Be inspired by the wise and encouraging words of our ASHR Guest Speaker and 2014 Math Program Completer. It has been 10 years since she completed Kumon, but Engr. Alyssa Anna Monica Jimeno remembers her Kumon journey so vividly.

From a student who struggled in Math, she is now a licensed and practicing Civil Engineer ❣️

Here are excerpts from her speech in the recent ASHR Recognition Day, held last January 21, 2024 in Hotel Tropica Davao.

Right at the beginning of each student's Kumon study, Instructors would encourage parents to establish:
✅ a specific study time
✅ a specific study area that is away from distractions
✅ a person who is dedicated to supervise (make sure that daily study is done and done according to the study approach as instructed by teachers)

Developing a proper study habit right at the start equips each student to tackle more challenging lessons later on. 🤓
