Alegado, conducted a Benchmarking & Cross-learning Activity at Barangay Poblacion, Tupi, South Cotabato, South Cotabato. The team were warmly welcomed by the members of the Council, BDRRMC responders and the Punong Barangay himself, Hon. Vergel B. Javier.

Through this Benchmarking and Cross-learning Activity, we will be able to learn and adapt the Barangay Poblacion's best practices and operating procedures which made them a Grand Slam winner Barangay of the National Gawad Kalasag Awards multiple times.

Bajo conducted the second phase of our Community Fire Protection Plan (CFPP) at Barangay Hall Compound of Lagao. Together with SFO2 Romeo Gentapanan, FO3 Henry Sebios, PSMS Albert M. Macabanguin of Police Station 3 and the Purok Chairpersons of the designated Fire hazard prone areas.

This activity aims to create a comprehensive Contingency Plan when Fire incident arises..

Barangay Lagao Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee in partnership with Generalsantoscity Firestation headed by Acting City Fire Marshall C/Insp. Desiree Shane S. Bajo; together with our project partners; KCC Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade and Gaisano Mall Of Gensan the said event has been a success.

Co-main event of the program was the showcase of beauty and talent in the Miss Fire Brigade 2023. The lady from Purok 18 was crowned as the most beautiful Muse amongst seven candidates.

Main event of the day was the Bucket Relay Challenge participated by 8 hazard prone Puroks that were part of our CFPP Campaign. With all their might and strength, the team from Purok 23 emerged victorious on the said event.

As our guest of honor, General Santos City Fire Station Deputy - Insp. Claire U. Batac said that this event may be a competition but this will promote camaraderie amongst the participants.

Bajo, conducted Information/Education Campaign on Fire Safety and Prevention in partnership of the respective Purok leaders of Apostol Compound Purok 5, Purok 13, Narra Ext. St. Purok 8 and Sitio Toning Part 1 Purok 29, Lagao General Santos City.

The team also taught the residents how to properly execute the "Bucket Relay" and how to properly respond to a burning (open) LPG tank.
