Nstp2-4335 Watercipator

Learning by doing, a phrase that every NSTP-CWTS experienced after the success of conducting the community project in Purok Shuttle, Barangay San Jose.

The project WATERcipator powered by cn NSTP-CWTS subject showcases the heart of cn 4335 students to help and support the community by promoting and educating people in terms of proper maintenance and usage of limited water resources.

Overall, this photo shows the activities held at the barangay from the start of project's symposium upto its turnover.

Lack of water restricts people's ability to practice basic cleanliness at home, at school, and in medical facilities, as well as access to safe water for drinking and cooking. When there is a lack of water, sewage systems may malfunction and cholera outbreak risks increase. Additionally, the cost of scarce water increases.

That is why, it is essential that we should all do our part as humans to help one another.

The RMMC College of Engineering and Technology, BSCE-1, successfully organized their community service with a project Watercipator: "Save WATER, make it a HABIT" at Prk. Shuttle, Brgy. San Jose, General Santos City.

The kids learned how to create mosquito repellent and what diseases they may catch from improperly stored water. They also participated in painting activities together with the NSTP2 4335 class, which they thoroughly loved.

Good day, WATERCIPATORS!

This is to inform everyone that the class NSTP2 4335 of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, will be conducting a community service at Prk. Shuttle, Brgy. San Jose General Santos City on May 13, 2023, that aims to educate the children of the aforesaid place about the importance of saving water and making it a habit.

For a place where water is not sufficient, it is very vital to teach them the basic ways on how to keep their stored water for consumption clean on a daily basis.

Contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio dengue, and the like.

One of their activities is to teach the kids on how to make mosquito repellent, this and more artsy activities kids will surely enjoy!

It was filled with joy, laughter, and learning as the WATERcipator symposium was successfully held at ANALUCY RESORT on May 6, 2023 at Prk. Shuttle Brgy. San Jose, G.S.C. We are really grateful to the people behind this event and we hope to continue receiving your support for this project.

The project entitled Watercipator with a theme "Save Water, Make it a habit" is made for the people of Purok Shuttle, Barangay San Jose which focuses relevant solution and alternatives to lessen the struggle they experience from water shortage.

NSTP 4335 students and Mr. Enriquez visited again Prk. Shuttle, Brgy. San Jose G.S.C on March 25, 2023 wearing their NSTP T-shirt. There is no doubt that their act of altruism was observed as they explored the community.

NSTP2 - 4335 1st year BSCE students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges went on a community visit with their NSTP instructor, Mr. Charwin Enriquez at Prk. Shuttle, Brgy. San Jose General Santos City on March 11, 2023.

Students conducted an interview utilizing a guided survey questionnaire in order to ascertain the challenges and issues facing the community.

Their goal is to assist people, and they can play a crucial role in resolving their problems and complaints.
