With much delight and enthusiasm, Elder Bernaldez served in the Philippines Quezon City Mission. His dedication, faith, and service have made a significant impact on many lives. Elder Bernaldez is a great help and will be blessed when he returns home.

D&C 18:15

15 And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!

“Good Morning Gensan 6th Ward the best of the best!!!

Maaaayongggg Buntag Kaninyong tanan, kamustaa naman mo? Mingaw na kayko sa inyo maskin naay wla gimingaw sa akoa hahahaha char. I love to share this message to all of you but first I acknowledge the effort of our beloved Bishop Bedico, he truly called by God for our good as we sustain each leader in our ward our lives will be bless and that's a promise blessing from our Prophet.

I've been here in the mission for almost 2 years, yes I'm going HOME this july 4.

I want to ask you these questions and ponder about it.

How you become a light to the world if you cannot be a light to yourself?

What are the things that makes you inadequate?

In this world there is a lot of opportunities and challenges, trials, difficulties but remember whom you pleasing with not the world but the one who make the world. We should not allow the world use us, we're the one who rule the world as we faithfully obeying the commandmentof God we can overcome the world. As PMG said in " Learning to use Agency Wisely - Another purpose of mortality is to learn to use our agency wisely- to choose what is right. Learning to use our agency wisely is essential to becoming like God. Which that is our eternal goal.

3 nephi 12: 16

16 Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

And who is your Light?

The Savior truly has the power to calm the storm in our lives. Sometimes the storms are calmed quickly, and other times we have to endure the storm for a reason. But remember that similar winds can cause greater waves on shallow water compared with deep water. As we deepen our faith in the Savior, we will find we are less affected by spiritual winds and waves that would have once threathen to overwhelm us.

Brethren, we find healing and relief only when we bring ourselves to the feet of the Great Physician, our Savior, Jesus Christ. We must lay down our weapons of rebellion (and we each know what they are). We must lay down our sin, vanity, and pride. We must give up our desires to follow the world and to be respected and lauded by the world. We must cease fighting against God and instead give our whole hearts to Him, holding nothing back. Then He can heal us. Then He can cleanse us from the venomous sting of sin.- Elder Kearon

Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

I leave with you a promise blessing as Jesus Christ said in D&C Section 10: 69-70

69 And now, behold, whosoever is of my church, and endureth of my church to the end, him will I establish upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.

70 And now, remember the words of him who is the life and light of the world, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Amen.

The Gensan 6th Ward hosted a family home evening at the Carcallas Family last Tuesday, March 26, 2024, together with our Missionaries.

Indeed, Families are Forever!

On March 29, 2024, the Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Activity took place.

It was a very enjoyable activity that included games, cooking, food preparation, and sharing with family and friends.

The important aspect was distributing the cooked food door-to-door among the members.

This act represents how much the Savior cares for and loves each of us. He cares for us, He will provide for us, and above all, He will always love us.

May all of us be reminded of His atoning sacrifice throughout Holy Week and celebrate the fact that "He is Risen."
