Honestly? I'm more surprised than anyone that there are only 2 months where I didn't do anything.

With the scare from my CTS diagnois, I had expected to draw out the wait even longer. But with encouragement and patience from loved ones (plus more artists I've learned and studied more about) I was able to draw as early as February!

Through these explorations of new techniques, not only was I able to draw much faster in a way I was content with, but I also found more confidence to explore mediums that I never thought I would.

I wasn't expecting to be able to take commissions again as soon as May 2022, but I couldn't be happier because without my long-time clients, I would've never had the confidence to keep going as well. And to explore new avenues, too.

Will I jinx myself if I mention what art goals I have? Who knows. But since I barely talk about it anyway, I really hope to study Vis Dev. Even if it's not next year or the next, but just someday. I may or may not have been inspired by the works of Ian Worrel, Jeffrey Thomspon, and Laura Price for an ungodly amount of time but hey! We all start somewhere.

Thank you to everyone who's believed in my work for the past year. I hope the next one will treat our work just as well, if not better.

I'm... actually legit sad by this. I only very recently learned who Kevin Conroy is so I won't claim to have as much sentimental value as everyone else who've grown up with him, but ever since I took the chance to read DC Pride this year I immediately fell in love with Kevin as soon as I read this last comic. I'm sad that I didn't get to know him as everyone else did, but I'm glad I got to know about him before it was too late.

Rest in peace, Mr. Conroy. Your work will always live on.

Forgot to post what the art stream managed to make yesterday! ✨✨

I made the rookie mistake of doing the foreground elements first (the 2 characters) INSTEAD of designing both foreground and background together, so I've been so lost on the background for a while.

But with yesterday's stream, I finally managed to get something in the end. The values are still very all over the place so I'll definitely adjust those, but other than that, I'm really glad there's something more solid to work on. ☺️

I don't know when the next art stream will be just yet but I'll do my best to give everyone a heads-up next time. ✨
