Abanse Babae!

Importante nga tahuron man kita.

Throughout the month of March 2024, we will feature and recognize empowered alumnae of Calampitao Elementary School as our way of celebrating the Women’s Month as well as empowering and inspiring other women.
Women do not let themselves get caged inside societal definitions of being a woman—for they define what a woman is and what a woman can be – LIMITLESS! Being a woman in today’s society is so challenging and complex. I sometimes feel totally controlled by many things in my environment. I often do not get the chance to relax without judgement or guilt, however I always put on my mind that I am entitled to do what I want, to rest, to go beyond the limitations the society had put and expectations of the world. Be true to yourself and be true to your morals. Stand up yourself. Don't let people take advantage of your kindness and soft heart. Don’t put yourself down, embrace your imperfections and never ever let anything stand in the way of the woman you are becoming.
Working on the BPO industry as Operations Supervisor with full of men in the leadership was never easy. I need to be confident, to be a multi-tasker, to learn how to manage my time, and have to deal with different kinds of people. It's in those moments of pushing past our fears and doubts that we discover our true capabilities and potential. I am given a chance to prove day in and day out that strength, determination, and leadership are qualities innate not just in men, but in women as well.
My greatest achievement is that I can go out of my way to be woman I am today. It’s when you choose to rise again from every fall you experience and firmly refuse to surrender – to be an inspiration to my family and everyone around me. I believe I was able to put a smile on someone’s face through positive ways. It should be that people become elated when they see you, not because of your beauty but because of how much you have contributed to their lives. Through your influence and leadership, they became much greater, happier, transformed, and encouraged.
We may hear a lot of stereotyping about us women, but we shouldn’t mind those because we know our true value and strength. We can be soft spoken, feminine, modest and at the same time be assertive, educated, and ambitious. What’s important is that we’re building our career and we are able to make our family’s lives better and didn’t cause harm to anyone.
Women empowerment is important because our influence and voice has a way of cutting through self-doubt, societal limitations, encouraging women to believe in themselves and their abilities. I believe when women internalize these empowering messages, they gain the courage to assert their rights, and pursue their ambitions with determination because that’s how I also learned and freed myself from doubts and what ifs. I was a person back then that is half-way to giving up but still was able to handle things up.
Babae ka, hindi babae lang. Let us show the world that being a woman is not a limitation, but also a Boundless Potential. Together, may we uplift and support one another through challenging times. Let us not turn away but stand up and let our voices be heard. Remember, our abilities are not determined by our gender. Everyone has a unique set of skills. We all have the freedom to be ourselves and the right to fight for our dignity. Us women ought to be strong, strong enough to deal with those circumstances, powerful enough to defend our lives, and strong enough to stand up to those who disrespect us.
To the younger generations go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Failure happens to everyone, so don’t let it knock you down. Instead, face it head-on because overcoming it will make you tougher. Surround yourself with people who bring out your best qualities and distance yourself from the people who do the opposite. Be strong, be kind, be free. Do things that make you proud of yourself. And above all, ibalik gid natun pirme ang kadayawan kag pagpasalamat sa Ginoo. Everything that you pray according to the will of God will be answered.

In solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters during Ramadan, may your fasting be filled with strength, your prayers with tranquility, and your hearts with unity. Ramadan Mubarak!

I know you will succeed💓💓

Babae ako, madiskarte, gapaninguha para magmadinalag-on.

Throughout the month of March 2024, we will feature and recognize empowered alumnae of Calampitao Elementary School as our way of celebrating the Women’s Month as well as empowering and inspiring other women.
Being a woman of the modern society, I am so blessed and thankful that despite so many sacrifices, hardships, and trials I have experienced, as a woman who believes in God and to myself, I fully know who I am, what I am capable of, and what my worth is. Everything happens for a reason, and nothing is impossible with Him.
The most challenging decision I made was leaving my children behind to work abroad. As a mother, it's so difficult to leave them. But for their own good, I need to conquer all my doubts and fears. With the help of prayers and lifting everything to God, I overcome it.
My greatest achievements being a woman were giving birth to my 3 children, and the moment my son graduated in college and found a job.
I want to be involved in stopping stereotyping by educating ourselves that our capabilities are limitless. I encourage fellow women to speak up and to be involved in some community activities to exercise their freedom and rights to be treated equally. This is an opportunity to be aware of what is happening in their community, even within their family through sharing. This way, we can find ways to address the issues to help them.
For me, empowering women is very important because there are so many mistreated and abused women, and victims of domestic violence, mostly because they don’t have their own source of income. They stayed at home to take care of their children or do the household chores. I need to empower them to get out of their comfort zone, find a job and be financially independent from their husband or partner. I want them to be empowered to decide to leave if the situation is not healthy and can disturb their peace of mind already. Women deserve to be loved and respected. An empowered woman knows how practice self-love, self-respect and knows her worth .
BABAE KA, not just babae ka lang. It reminds me of who I am – a woman of faith and purpose, a woman created by God equal to men, a woman who can stand for what is right and what is fair, a woman who believes that the truth will set us free, and a woman who says “No matter how hard life is, life must go on”.
To the young girls, don’t limit yourself of what you can do. You can do anything with good purpose. Study hard, finish your studies, and got a job. Don't allow anybody to tell you what you and what you cannot do. Prove them wrong. Listen to your parents, especially to your mother because mother knows best. Get involved in the community. Be kind. Be resilient. Keep learning everyday – may it be in school or in any place. Enjoy life and remember that life is a journey, not a competition. You will encounter difficulties in many aspects of your life but never give up. KAPIT lang sa PANGARAP because at the end of the day, you will reap what you sow.
BABAE KA – MAY HALAGA, MAY PAG ASA!

Here's to the trailblazers, the dreamers, and the change-makers. Happy International Women's Day! 🌸✨ Let's celebrate, uplift, and empower women today and every day.
Modern day women are strong and independent. I proved to them that we are all humans, and we are all equal in this world.
Don’t put limits on your self because you are a woman. What men can do, women can also do. Be strong and independent enough to fight for your worth as a woman.

Being a woman in this day of age includes a landscape of both progress and challenges, and this can be different from one woman to another. In my case, I stand with my faith that when I am empowered, I can empower the world.
I can name so many “earthly” achievements as a woman from being a voice to the voiceless, to standing on truth even if this means standing alone, but nothing compares to a woman living on purpose, something that is bigger than myself…and that is to serve the Lord, the community, and my family❤️
Together, let’s stop stereotyping through collective and individual efforts. Let’s be empowered by educating ourselves and others with these social issues. SPEAK UP! I am one with promoting diversity and inclusion in all areas of life to create an inclusive environment and celebrate the contributions of people from diverse backgrounds.
Babae tayo, at hindi “babae lang”. This sounds great and powerful to me. Because as women, we can do more out of our grit, our passion, our hopes, our aspirations, our love, and our faith.
To the youth, BE EMPOWERED! Let’s challenge the status quo! Always do things for the common good. Be empowered in so many ways and help the community transform into what it is supposed to become. Because once we are empowered, there is no limit to what we, as women can contribute to the society, and to the world at large.

Being a woman in the modern society is liberating. I do not need to think what people think of me. I can do what I want. I can express my opinion and what I say matter. I am given an opportunity to do what men only can do in the past.
Generations before us treated women as degenerates. They view women as not deserving to study. They were not given the opportunity to work and have a profession. The society needs to realize that we may not have the strength men have but we have the initiative to do things on our own way. Women empowerment will promote equality. Both genders will have equal rights to access and resources.
Being a manager, people would think it is more appropriate to give the position to a man because men are less sensitive and more rational than women – that as a woman, I may not be able to manage the task and responsibilities of an Office Manager.
My greatest achievement as a woman is when I was given an opportunity to study overseas. There are many applicants and yet I was lucky to get the spot.
I defy norms, culture, and tradition. I do not to conform to what the majority do. I am a subject. I am not an object. My voice matters. My feelings and my contributions are counted.
When you’re a young and carefree woman, people will judge you and that judgement does not apply to boys. So, girls, when boys work hard, we must work harder. We need to prove that we deserve a chance to study, work and become who we want to be. When others become complacent of who they are, we keep proving we can do better - not to please others, but for ourselves. We are more than what the society perceived us to be.

Abanse Babayi!
“Women now have no limit. If we know we can do it, we go for it. By profession, I am an engineer. Being a woman in a field full of men was not that easy, sometimes they doubt your capabilities and abilities in solving urgent concerns on site, but in the end they'll applaud your decision because that was the best solution ever made. 😁
As a woman, my greatest achievement is being ME, a proud self-made woman who never gives up 😁 I challenge stereotypes, inequalities, and social injustices by being not afraid to show who I am and promoting awareness on EQUALITY. Women empowerment is important because this encourages and gives women confidence to RISE on their own and be proud of themselves.
“Babae ka. Hindi babae lang.” Every time I hear this quote, it gives me chills and excitement. Nkakaempower talaga, it urges me to do more and show more what a woman can do to help improve our society and promote equality.
Girls, we are not weak. Do not limit yourselves. If you know nga kaya mo, go for it even if it's a profession full of men.
BABAE TAYO AND WE ARE LIMITLESS! 💪”

“In this modern society, a woman must be brave and courageous. She must be strong just like men, but with her femininity and meekness retained. I am a woman of God and sometimes, I experienced being bullied, judged, and offended. But still, I stand strong and fight for what is right and what is good.
My greatest achievement as a woman is giving birth to my first child, the fulfillment of my womanhood and aspirations of being a mother. There were a lot of challenges and trials that came my way. Surviving and overcoming them are my greatest achievements as a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother.
Women empowerment is important because it is recognizing the rights and strengths of every woman. Women can also be the voice, the power, and the defender of themselves, and of the society.
Babae ka. Hindi basta babae lang. I always have this in my mind. Men and women are different in some aspects but it’s not the be-all and end-all. As women, we must contribute with everything we can. We should not be dependent on men. We need to be a fighter of ourselves and a fighter of our generation.
For young women of today, be brave enough, do not be soft hearted in facing all trials, be more vigilant, be more knowledgeable. Wag masyadong maging marupok. Enjoy your days being young but always remember that there are limitations in everything. Just put God at the center of your life and He will direct all your plans. Always remember Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not in your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”
Be a woman of power! Be a woman of faith!”
