Arising Generation Club Hosts Rabbi Concert 2024, Fosters Unity Among Attendees

Students from the College of Teacher Education gathered at the outdoor stage as the Arising Generation Club hosted the Rabbi Concert 2024 themed “Reconnect” on March 18, centered on Luke 15:11–32. More than a hundred attendees from diverse backgrounds came together for an afternoon of reconnection and encouragement.

From 2:30 to 6:00 PM, students engaged in singing praise and worship songs, sharing testimonies, receiving encouragement, and participating in prayer, fostering a sense of community and upliftment among attendees and thus fostering different Sustainable Development Goals.

The collaborative effort of the Arising Generation Club, Magnolia Residence Hall Club, Values Educators Club, and the College of Teacher Education Student Council contributed to the event's success. The organizing committee extended their heartfelt gratitude to generous donors, partners, and assistants whose support made the event possible, facilitating a memorable experience for all who attended.

The Rabbi Concert 2024 stands as a testament to the power of unity, faith, and community among college students, reaffirming the importance of coming together to uplift and inspire one another.😇✨️

PAGDAMAY 2.0 🫂

The Pagdamay Youth Fellowship, held on December 7, 2023, under the topic 'The Greatest Gift,' was a momentous occasion where young individuals came together to reflect on and celebrate the significance of God's gift to humanity—redemption and salvation. The event took place at the Center for Teaching Excellence Hall.

Through prayers, worship sessions, and shared testimonies, participants deepened their understanding of the immense love and grace shown through the birth of Christ.

“Sana all hindi iniiwan.”

Sa bawat hakbang na ating tinatahak sa buhay, may mga sandaling tila tayo ay iniwan, sinaktan, o pinagwalang bahala ng mga tao sa ating paligid. Ngunit sa kabila ng lahat ng mga ito, mayroong isang kasiguruhan na hindi magbabago, ang pagmamahal ng Panginoon.

Sa bawat yugto ng ating buhay, tayo ay Kaniyang pinili, pinapahalagahan, at minamahal ng lubusan. Kahit anong unos ang ating harapin, tandaan natin na hindi tayo kailanman iniwang nag-iisa ng Panginoon. Ang Kaniyang pagmamahal ay laging nariyan, nagbibigay sa atin ng lakas at pag-asa sa gitna ng anumang pagsubok.

Manatiling matatag sa pananampalataya, dahil sa Kanyang pangako, tayo'y laging may kasama sa bawat hakbang ng ating buhay.

Kailan mo huling kinumusta ang iyong sarili?

Managing life's challenges independently often leads to personal dissatisfaction and heightened stress levels. You were not built to handle the stress of life on your own. It’s something that you weren’t made to carry.

Hindi masama na aminin sa sarili na kung minsan ay hindi na natin kaya. Na kailangan din natin ng pahinga. Pilit man nating itago ang nararamdaman, pilit mang ipakita ang mga matatamis na ngiti sa ibang tao, ngunit hindi mawawala ang pakiramdam sa ating puso… ang lungkot at mga problema na pinapasan.

So take those things that concern you to God. Surrender everything that makes you anxious. Let Him help you carry your concerns and worries. You are not built to carry them alone. So put your trust in God and know that He is fighting for you. He cares for you!

Finding Comfort and Strength in God amidst Life's Challenges

Being a student can be challenging and uncertain. We may feel alone and unsupported in our ambitions at times. Minsan, sinasabi natin sa ating sarili ang mga katagang; “gusto ko lang naman grumaduate ngunit bakit napakahirap itapak ang mga paa sa entablado at kunin ang inaasam na diploma.” at "suko na ako" dahil sa iba’t-ibang mga problema na kinakaharap sa paglalakbay.

We look for someone to comfort us but we do not sometimes realize that we can find comfort in God's unwavering presence in our lives. He offers us guidance and strength when we need it most. Let us trust in Him and hold on to His promises.

It is important to have faith and not be overwhelmed by fear and worries. God assures us that He will help us overcome any obstacles in our way. We should never doubt that He is with us always and will never abandon us.

In the midst of uncertainties, let us find peace in God's love and care for us. Remember that we are not alone in every battle we face and that He will always be there for us, ready to uplift and carry us. With Him by our side, we can confidently pursue our dreams and ambitions.

We all struggle to trust the Lord at times. This seems to be especially true in times of hardship. Many of us focus our minds on the situation, expressing frustration, anxiety about getting to work, and the possible negative outcomes.

We are called to acknowledge Him in everything, trusting God in situations we cannot control, and even praising Him in those instances, knowing that His plan is good. When we surrender to Him in this way and align our desires with His, He becomes our loving guide, helping us to discern His desires for us in our lives.

May this semester be a transformative period of growth, discovery, and academic excellence. As we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead, let us actively cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment that not only fosters learning and personal development but also relies on the steadfast foundation of trusting in God.

A Collaboration Between the Arising Generation Club (AGC) and the Early Childhood and Special Needs Education Club (ECSNEC).

The Teachers' Day celebration at Mariano Marcos State University College of Teacher Education on October 5, 2023, was a vibrant and inclusive event that brought together students, faculty, and staff to honor the dedicated educators who play an essential role in shaping the future of education.

One of the highlight booths at the celebration was the collaboration between the AGC and the ECNEC, which embraced the theme of "Arising Inclusivity."

This served as a reminder that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about creating an environment where every student, regardless of their abilities or differences, feels valued and supported in their educational journey. This collaborative effort between the two clubs exemplified the commitment of the College of Teacher Education to prepare future educators who are attuned to the needs of diverse learners.

It was a day of appreciation, learning, and solidarity within the educational community.

We are here to offer assistance and support to those who are going through difficult times, trials and burdens in their life. To share the gospel to all students on the campus and support as many students as we can with and God's grace and Christian peer support in order to be partners in this endeavor.

Opportunities, parallel to the challenges of life, arise to make our expedition worthy enough to be shared! As student leaders, given the voice and platform to lead and serve, we make use of these opportunities to make a difference!
