🏆 𝕊ℍ𝕊 𝕄𝕀ℕ𝕀𝕃𝕐𝕄ℙ𝕀ℂ𝕊 2024 🏆

On the splendid day of June 6, 2024, the Senior Student Body Organization conducted the SHS Minilympics 2024 at the Volleyball and Basketball Court, and at the Oval.

The mini sports tournament was filled with enthusiastic cheers, excitement, and euphoria as the Grade 11 and Grade 12 team battled in different sports and games, particularly in Basketball, Volleyball, and Chinese Garter. The sports event aimed to let SHS students momentarily unwind and provide them a relief from the pressure of academics that challenged them throughout the school year, 2023-2024.

In the morning, the Grade 11 team, captained by LJ Dasalla, played against the Grade 12 team, captained by Nizza Orpilla, in an energetic game of volleyball (women category), where they secured their title as champion. The Grade 11 team also fought against the Grade 12 team in the game of volleyball men category, and they also clinched victory. 🏀

The energy soared even higher in the afternoon as the basketball tournament began where the teams of women from the Grade 11 battled against the Grade 12. The male students from each grade level also formed their respective teams and played against each other. 🏐

It was indeed an entertaining and exhilarating sports tournament as the mini event brimmed with excitement where the audience cheerfully yelled for the energetic SHS players. 📣

In the end, several SHS students were awarded MVP, Best Rebounder, Best in Chinese Garter, Champion in Basketball and Volleyball and more.

Special thanks to the facilitator of the games who made the games more organized and fun: Ma'am Bea Dasalla, Sir Alexander Baptista, Sir Adrian Deocales, and Sir Mark Anthony Castillo; Also, an expression of gratitude to our SSBO Adviser, to our principal, and to the Campus Administrator for making the event possible.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

Today, on May 30, 2024, the Senior Student Body Organization (SSBO) along with the Student Body Organization (SBO) and LHS teachers actively prepared for the LHS Culminating Activity for tomorrow, May 31, 2024, which will be conducted at Bia-o, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.

The industrious teachers, student leaders and several LHS students tightly wrapped plenty shoe boxes containing hygiene items, toys, and clothes, and packed bags of goods, all wholeheartedly prepared for the OPLAN G.R.A.T.T. (Gilbert R. Arce Treasure Treats) tomorrow.

The program aims to promote generosity and love among LHS students and commemorate the late president, as these gifts and treats will be given to the beneficiaries of barangay Bia-o.

Maria Campus' Pusong Paskuhan event themed 'YUGTO: Ang Hudyat ng Bagong Simula,' Laboratory High School shines bright, claiming the top places with their harmonious voice in the Chorale Competition and their energetic performance in Dance Craze. Our department secured remarkable awards in the Chorale, Dance Craze, Parol, and Christmas Tree Competitions.
