The Red Cross Health Caravan together with various organizations have collaborated to bring help and make this event possible to happen. Truly, when hand to hand work together, it will prosper and will bring blessing to others. The Lord put favours upon us all and when our hearts seek for greater change we can give through generosity. Day 2 part 2 at Brgy. Rizal, Pala-Pala II, Iloilo City!โค๏ธ
The mental health advocates came by to distribute the relief goods and toys to the survivors last May 6, 2023. We can see the big smiles and happy faces all through out the event!๐คฉ
Not just that! Volunteers had a clay intervention where children can create sculptures or other forms that represent their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. The act of molding the clay can also be therapeutic in itself, as it allows the child to release tension and express themselves physically. Clay intervention can also be used to help children better understand and process their emotions.
As what Helen Keller said, alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. May the people that volunteers and mental health advocates touched be blessed.
Looking back, we can't thank you enough for those who responded especially the individuals who were serving nonstop to those in need and organizations who supported all throughout the process--this event would not be possible without you!
Photos from Day 1 Part 1 of Paghaw-as kag Pahimali Project at Brgy. Rizal Pala Pala II, Iloilo City.
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support was given to kids and adults through Expressive Arts and using โAng Kwento ng Pagdadalaโ framework by mental health volunteers last May 5, 2023.
Kids were given time to heal through art intervention focusing on drawing as an activity to foster personal growth and internal peace. While adults were given opportunity to express, process, and mend those experiences to allow inner comfort and calmness despite the ranging seas within them.
This event would not be possible without the help of our partner organizations!
The most important thing, is when you extend your hand to help and heal in a little way that you can.
That product is what we called โcommunity healing.โ
โPassion is energy.โ
After a long hustle and bustle in the Paghaw-as kag Paghimali Project, Year 2 Part 1; these students stayed at school tonight to collect and finalize the distribution of essentials and toys that will be given tomorrow, May 6, 2023 around 9-11 AM.
The Part 2 of the project is spearhead by Jizhrel Perez & Khaye Delgado alongside with the Core of Mental Health Advocates and CPU 3rd Year Psychology students Block 1.
Truly, they were โpsyched.โ
See you tomorrow for the Part 2 at Brgy. Rizal Pala Pala II, Iloilo City!๐๐ป May God bless and touch the hearts of manyโค๏ธ

A big thanks to the former spearhead of the projects, Hannah Faith Sejera! She made things possible and her heart is as kind as ever.
โI joined because of the intention. The intention is to create a movement that will leave a lasting impact on the community being helped inclusively. To help and empower people with the missions and outreaches being implemented. Also, I am one of those individuals who look forward to the joy brought to every person who gets to receive help through this movement, and that is the trajectory of what Iโm seeing in this movement.
I am looking forward to the faces of those who will receive what we are bringing to their table. The lives who will get impacted by the mission this movement is doing is what keeps me being a part of this. I want to be one of those people who live on this Earth that through the help and love I could give even just to one person, that will be worth doing, something I would leave as a legacy and impact and the story I could tell to the next generation, to uplift where they are and bring those people in places that should be and become empowered enough so they could pay it forward to others as well.โ
We are all ready for tomorrowโs event. Thank you to the 100+ participants who are willing to dedicate their time to plant mangrove trees to help our community and to our mother earth.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jerry Bionat for making way to provide us a medical supplies for our upcoming medical mission on April 29, 2023 at Batad, Iloilo.
Let us dive deep into knowing the founder and the origin of this movement and the experiences she had kept dearly in her heart on how this movement changed lives in the places they have been to, and the people they have encountered!
"Since the pandemic started, I went home to estancia, my hometown. During that time ara lng ko sa balay wala may na ubra and gama kita ko mga post nga damo may na dulaโan ubra etc. So I thought of something to make and to be able to sell para ka give sa mga may kinanlan. Like printing tshirts, bracelets and others that are possible to sell. But I kept this wondering โsino sa akon ma bakal? Kay tanan man affected. Right after I asked that to myself, my cousin messaged me and shared about fundraising concept like 20-50 peso for pandemic something like that.
So hambal ko, sige I will push thru para sa ila ni. Sa mga ingod balay namon. How God works! I am so amazed kay kapila nako mag attempt mag ubra business pero He denied kay gali may ara siya nga amazing way. From that moment, I asked if I can adapt it and with the go signal.
I started campaigning first from my family and friends, and I thought para lang sa ingod balay pero through the social media, after I uploaded my documentation, many people responded even from abroad that we don't know. As from expected we should only reach 20-50 families until we expanded our reach to our whole brgy., fed frontliners, church member and drivers from 20 pesos to 72k pesos. And that was our 1st project as a family.
I thought that will end there. However when I ran as Board Member, I shared this story and I met amazing individuals that had the same mission as mine. So I, Tricia Saban and Hannah Faith Sejera headed a community pantry together with our CAS-KOA family 2021 and went to the mountain of Talo-ato, San Dionisio, Iloilo and were able to feed hundred of families. That was our 2nd project.
The 3rd project was a partnership with The Beneficiaries Hands with the help of Hannah Faith Sejera.
Who would have thought that the 20 peso movement would get this far? Our 4th project was for those who were affected by the typhoon Agaton, same fund campaign and we held a concert for a cause at Estancia. Our local bands responded to this movement, and offered their time to make it happen, together with Everdels Garden Resort and team lagawan. This project was headed by me, Tricia Saban and Hannah Jane Magbanua.
In this project, we went to Dumarao, Capiz and Lemery, Iloilo as a family because everyone was not available that time.
Weโre blessed to be a channel of blessings to others.
The most memorable experience I have was when our neighborhood told us that โkanami man gali sa feeling nga kami gapang hatag nu?โ because we let them come with us during the distribution to be a part of the movement.
Nothing is impossible with God and to have a vision is to make a mission."
It is amazing how one person starts off as an instrument to connect to people in ways that become so fruitful and beautiful!
Every life is valuable, and quality healthcare should be accessible to all. During our โ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐ฝ-๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฟ๐๐๐ผ ๐๐๐ผ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ผ" project visit in Caw-I, Batad, IloIlo last February, we found that many, especially children, were struggling with malnutrition and facing the risk of pulmonary and intestinal problems.
Our commitment to creating positive change has been reinforced, and we are determined to revisit the community once again. Our objective is to empower the community to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
Your contributions will make a difference in this indigenous community. By providing your support, you assist us in obtaining the essential vitamins and medication required to improve their health.
Join us in our mission to bring health and hope to Caw-I, Batad, IloIlo! Your generosity can make all the difference.
