Because there are no shortcuts to a place worth going. You need to do it right and put in the work.
The good news is. You can still start and rebuild by building it the right way.
10 Lessons I learned from Joey De Leonโ
Ctto: Toni Gonzaga Studio
1. Opportunity knocks once or minsan twice pero ang punto ko, grab it!
2. Mastery, kahit ano man yang ginagawa mo master it! Be the best at it.
When I say mastery kahit tulog ka kaya mong gawin, kahit nakapikit ka master it, grabe yung niya sa trabahong ginagawa niya.
3. Kapalan mo mukha mo, life is a journey at kung mahihiya ka kang wag ka ng umasa na magiging successful ka sa buhay.
4. Keep on pursuing! Upgrade yourself and continue to strive more.
5. Sometimes hurts will lead you to your destiny. (minsan lang, lalo na pag may hugot ka! Haha)
6. Just do your thing, yaan mo yung discouragement na humarang.
"Hangga't may bata may Eat bulaga." Is a good line dahil kahit maraming discouragement idaan mo sa comedy at pagpupursige. (Bars!)
7. Be relatable, "Eat" dahil lunch at "Bulaga" dahil para may gulat kaya nabuo ang "Eat Bulaga!"
8. Don't retire! Keep on working until you die.
9. Tuloy ang pag-aaral, the moment you stop learning is the moment you start dying.
10. Enjoy your life. "A good life is expensive there is something cheaper but it is not life."
Joey's Mantra - Trabaho, Ipon, Travel & Enjoy (TITE) pronounce as Tight!

Think like a millionaire. Hustle and save money like you're broke. โจ
THINGS TO AVOID WHILE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING:
1. Extended Warranties
Extended warranties are a waste of money. The odds that you'll actually use them are low, they cause you to pay more for the product, and just because you have one doesn't mean that your potential future problem would be covered by it. Skip them and use your emergency fund to help cover things in the event that an essential item needs to be replaced or repaired.
2. Store credit card discounts
Store credit card discounts are another way to get you to spend more money. People say it's not a big deal, they'll sign up and pay it off immediately to knock a few bucks off of their bill, but if everyone did that, we wouldn't have a credit card debt problem like we have in this country. ALSO, think about it this way... you were about to give them the full amount of money that the item cost, and then the store employee offers you a discount to sign up for a credit card. Why would they do that if they're about to make LESS money on that sale? Because, once they've got you signed up for that card, they know they'll make more money off of you as a customer in the long run. A lot of retailers make more on credit card interest than they do on the sale of merchandise.
3. Buy now, pay later plans
Don't even get me started on this one. Just buy the sweater. Seriously. You don't need to pay for it over 4 months... and if you miss a payment, you'll owe a LOT more.
4. Gift wrapping services
These are expensive. Unless it's free with your purchase, just take it home and wrap it yourself. It adds a personal touch.
5. Overpaying for overnight shipping
Plan ahead or shop in person if you're running behind to avoid crazy shipping costs. It doesn't make any sense to pay half of or even more than the purchase price of an item just to get it to your home on time. Give the post office and your wallet a break on this one.

Just a piece of advice ๐
Once you receive your 13th month Pay or Christmas Bonus. Bayaran mo ang taong nagpautang sayo noong panahong gipit na gipit ka. Ang taong hindi nagdalawang isip na tulungan ka dahil kaibigan ka nya sa hirap man o ginhawa. You promised to pay but you failed and promised again. He/She trusted you and lend his/her hard-earned money for you to survive. It is time for you to do your part.
Save your relationship with the person whom you owed money. Money can be earned anytime, but the trust once broken will leave a permanent mark the rest of your life.
If wala ka naman utang, spend your money wisely. Invest into something your future self will thank you for. Let that money work for you atleast sa loob ng isang taon, may tamang desisyon kang nagawa sa buhay mo. Advance Merry Christmasโบ๏ธ

Nagiging 15 yrs or 20 yrs, bakit?
Sa mga nakaka relate, spend your money wisely, learn to save and invest for the future. โ๐ป๐๐ฏ

MESSAGE US๐ค
Someone asked the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, โIs there anyone richer than you in the world ?โ
Bill Gates replied, โYes, there is a person who is richer than me.โ
He then narrated a story.
โIt was during the time when I wasnโt rich or famous.
โI was at the New York Airport when I saw a newspaper vendor.
โI wanted to buy one newspaper but found that I didnโt have enough change. So I left the idea of buying and returned it to the vendor.
โI told him of not having the change. The vendor said, โI am giving you this for free.โ On his insistence I took the newspaper.
โCoincidentally, after two to three months, I landed at the same airport and again I was short of change for a newspaper. The vendor offered me the newspaper again. I refused and said that I canโt take it for I donโt have change today too. He said, โYou can take it, I am sharing this from my profit, I wonโt be at loss.โ I took the newspaper.
โAfter 19 years I became famous and known by people. Suddenly I remembered that vendor. I began searching for him and after about 1ยฝ months of searching, I found him.
โI asked him, โDo you know me?โ He said, โYes, you are Bill Gates.โ
โI asked him again, โDo you remember once you gave me a newspaper for free?โ
โThe vendor said, โYes, I remember. I gave you twice.โ
โI said, โI want to repay the help you had offered me that time. Whatever you want in your life, tell me, I shall fulfill it.โ
โThe vendor said, โSir, donโt you think that by doing so you wonโt be able to match my help?โ
โI asked, โWhy?โ
โHe said, โI had helped you when I was a poor newspaper vendor and you are trying to help me now, when you have become the richest man in the world. How can your help match mine ?โ
โThat day I realized that the newspaper vendor is richer than I am, because he didnโt wait to become rich to help someone.โ
People need to understand that the truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than lots of money.
Itโs very important to have a rich heartโค๏ธ

If You Lost Your Job Today, How Long Would You Survive?
Imagine this with us..
Youโre comfortably working for a company for 25 years. And then one day, your boss comes to you and suddenly tells youโฆ
โThis is your last day.โ
How disastrous could that be?
Imagine if you lost your job. You lost your source of income.
How can you provide for your family? How can you pay for your bills? With all the responsibilities at hand!
This is the exact thing that happened to this lovely couple Benj and Fely.
Benj is a mechanical engineer while Fely is an industrial engineer. Both of them worked in the semiconductor industry for over 25 years and had senior management positions.
From being managers, supervisors and even director level!
They were earning very well. But they also spent very well. (Gastos dito gastos diyan).
That got them into debts. Can you guess how much?
..a whopping seven figure debts! Oh and not to mention all kinds of loans.
Name it, they had it!
What could have possibly gone wrong? It is this...
Spending their money they even havenโt earned yet.
And that got them into the rat race cycle.
Work hard. Pay bills. Spend. Borrow money. Work hard.
Is this familiar with you?
Money Can Work for You or Against You
โDebt is money working against usโ- Benj
It was only later did they realize they were already buried in a quagmire of debt.
This went on and on for more than a decade. There were many sleepless nights!
Could you imagine how stressful and frustrating that was for them?
Fely recalled one night when she was down on her knees. She was desperate that God would take them out of this mess.
Later on, they lost their 6-figure income. Ouch!
All while having two of their children studying in La Salle.
There is Hope. Money Can Work for You.
Fast forward to todayโฆ
Benj and Fely are now financially free!
They are holding senior executive vice chairman positions at IMG.
They travel around the Philippines and the world to teach as many Filipinos how to save and invest correctly, and how to get out of bad debts.
They are actively leading a team of financial coaches. When they joined IMG in 2010,
They are now present in more than 23 countries, helping families achieve financial freedom and teaching people how to create wealth for their families.
