Awareness and preparedness before, during, after Earthquake should be acknowledged. In events like this, Earthquake Drills is crucial in preparing communities for unforeseen earthquakes, enhancing emergency response skills, and reinforcing training efforts, ultimately improving preparedness and knowledge for potential emergencies.
What should be done during Earthquake? 🤷🏻♀️

Each year, we work together to turn a single Earth Hour into thousands and millions of hours of action for our one shared home.
In 2007, Earth Hour became renowned for its "lights off" moment, where people worldwide switched off their lights as a symbolic gesture of support for the planet, aiming to raise awareness about environmental issues.

Together with various Student Organizations, the event was hugely successful in planting a total of 100 Mangrove Seedlings.
Joining the event greatly aligns with the organization's virtues, allowing a sense of responsibility and interconnection with our nature.
These seedlings will grow and act as nature's frontline defense, shielding coastal communities near Iloilo River from the wrath of storms and erosion. Upon growing, mangrove forests serve as vital nurseries for marine life, supporting diverse ecosystems and sustaining fisheries.

AND THAT WAS A WRAP OF OUR ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN!
Last November 4, 2022 at the ICNHS Library, the Iloilo City National High School Youth for Environment in School Organization held the Only One Earth Environmental campaign with the theme "Start Changing Your Habits and Make Them Environment Friendly". Surely the campaign have been very informative thanks to our resource speakers Mr. Erwin S. Militar and Mr. Jimmy Perote Jr. With this, let us be reminded to start changing our habits and make them environment friendly for our only one earth.
"No gift is too big or too small. What's important is we help them all."
The Iloilo City National High School Youth for Environment in School Organization is hoping everybody stays dry during this period of time. As this disaster brings casualties to our country especially in our neighboring archipelago, we are knocking on your kind hearts to help the Panay victims of Bagyong Paeng through our donation drive. We will be accepting used clothes, goods and necessities at the YES-O Office on November 2, 2022 until November 5, 2022.
Donations will be collected at ICNHS YES-O Office (Second floor, Old Admin Building, Above Guidance Office)

Only One Earth!
"We only have one Earth! Let's give it the respect it deserves."
We cannot envision our way of life without the earth. Have you ever considered how we would move without the soil, water to drink, animals to interact with, and of course, no agriculture to produce food? The earth provides for all of our needs; therefore, we must also learn to give back.
