Molo plaza boasts a bandstand with art deco touches, a neoclassical-style gazebo featuring six goddesses from Greek mythology, and a Maria Clara statue done by the Italian sculptor Francesco Monti, known for his work on the Metropolitan Theater and the Rizal Memorial stadium.

The firsts are always memorable and special.

I can still recall my first experience in Araneta City when I watched Taylor Swift's ""Speak Now Live in Manila"" at the Araneta Coliseum on February 19, 2011.

As a Swiftie, it was more than a dream come true to see her performing live. The experience was nostalgic.

Taylor's music is very poetic and very relatable. That’s why swifties are the most devoted and loyal fans in the world, because we connect and she appreciates each and everyone! That’s one iconic queen! 👸🏼

A decade after, who would have thought that I'll be back in Araneta City as I pursue another dream?

Araneta City is the that produces empowered and strong Filipinas since 1964.

Yes, Binibining Pilipinas is my first national pageant.

More than a year in this journey is always worth the wait and today, I am here loud and proud as your Binibini representing IloIlo.

This dream is starting to unfold because of you, Araneta City. Thank you! You are indeed the and where dreams are made!

With the resounding success of the recent Dinagyang Digital 2021 spearheaded by the Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc., co-organized by the Iloilo City Government, we are once again taking into the virtual platform the oldest sailing event in Asia - another festival that we are very proud to have, the Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta Digital 2021!

This is a manifestation of our strong commitment to continue celebrating our rich cultures and traditions despite being confronted with the challenges of this pandemic, because our identy as Ilonggos is truly worth celebrating.

MECHANICS
1.) Open to all resident, non-professional artists of Iloilo City.

2.) The poster should illustrate and emphasize on the theme "One Dinagyang, One Iloilo, Halad kay Sr. Sto. Niño".

3.) All poster shall be placed in a 1/2 sized illustration board (30"x40"). Participants are free to choose which side of the board to utilize. However, the poster must be in vertical format. This shall be provided by the participants.

4.) The use of materials other than the one listed below is strictly prohibited. The materials that can be used are the following (to be provided by the participants):

a.) Oil pastel
b.) Watercolor
c.) Markers
d.) Colored pencils
e.) Highlighter
f.) Acrylic paint
g.) Mixed media

5.) Upon submission, attach 3-5 sentences description of the poster that includes the materials being used and a brief explanation of the elements of the poster.

6.) A. Entries must be submitted on or before January 20,2021, 12PM via FB PAGE (Johnny Young Official page.

B. We will be posted the 12 finalist on January 24,2021 via FB page . C. Poster exhibit on January 26 and awarding ceremony at SM City Iloilo.

7.) Entries will be judged base on the following criteria:

-Content 30%
-Creativity and originality 30%
-Overall impact 25%
-People's choice award 15%

Mechanics

1. This contest is open to all non-professional artist who are residents of Iloilo City.

2. The poster should illustrate and emphasize the theme "One Dinagyang, One Iloilo, Halad kay Sr. Sto. Niño"

3. The poster will be made on a 30"x40" illustration board (1/2 size) which the participants will provide. Participants are free to choose which side of the board to utilize; however, the poster should be in a vertical format.

4. Below is a list of allowed materials in making the poster. Using other materials aside from the ones listed below is strictly prohibited and a ground for disqualification. The participants are responsible for their own materials.

5. Participants should attach a caption to thier submitted entries briefly explaining the elements of the poster in relation to the theme.. "One Dinagyang, One Iloilo, Halad kay Sr. Sto. Niño"

6. A. Entries must be submitted on or before January 23, 2021 via the Johnny Young Official Facebook account,together with complete Name, Address,email ad,and contact number.
B. The actual poster must be submitted at Petron ,Lapaz(the one in front of Lapaz Market,beside Jolibee)or at the office of the SK Federation President,6th floor,The New Iloilo City Hall on or before January 23,2021.

7. 20 finalists will be chosen from all entries and will be posted on January 24, 2021 via the Johnny Young Official page. The 20 finalist will also be notified via the submitted Contact number, Messenger or email address.

8. The poster exhibit of the 20 finalists will be on January 26, 2021 at SM City Iloilo to be followed by an awarding ceremony .
