Kadyos, Baboy, kag Langka, or ๐™†๐˜ฝ๐™‡ is a Filipino pork soup or stew that originated from Iloilo and is a traditional dish of the Hiligaynon people from the Western Visayas Islands.

The name of the dish comes from the three main ingredients - pigeon peas, pork, and jackfruit. The soup is typically soured with batuan fruits (Garcinia binucao), although tamarind can also be used. Other ingredients include leafy greens such as young sweet potato leaves, cabbage, or bokchoi, lemongrass, fish sauce, onions, and siling haba peppers. The pork cut used is usually the hock (pata).

The dish is characteristically purple due to the use of pigeon peas. It is similar to another Hiligaynon dish known as ๐™†๐™–๐™™๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™จ, ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ , ๐™ ๐™–๐™œ ๐™๐™—๐™–๐™™, or ๐—ž๐— ๐—จ which uses chicken and banana pith instead.

Kadyos, Baboy, kag Langka, or KBL is the ultimate favorite dish of most Ilonggos. It is also one of the most missed native dishes as kadyos and the souring ingredient batwan are hard to find when outside of the Ilonggo region.
