Inspiring, unwavering, and kind; these three words describe the artist that served as Hiraya's Vice Chair for this school year. She was not only a great artist but also a great leader and friend.

Her passion and eagerness for learning inspired those around her. Every piece drawn revealed the hard work put into perfecting her craft. Even as each of us ventured into our own art journies, she would call our names and say hello, never making us feel alone. Sunshine radiated wherever she was and the air around was always light. Her cheerfulness would always make seriousness succumb. The uninteresting pages of our lives were made into something we would love rereading. She filled these with doodles, for she is the coalescence of chaos and beauty.

A big applause to those who were able to pass the initial screening of Hiraya Arts Guild! 🥳

To those qualifiers the second phase will be held in Grade 12 - STEM 1, 4-5 pm on December 14, 2022.

Please bring your own art materials and mediums of your choice to further showcase your artstyle.

Additionally, those who submitted layout art, will no longer be required to take the second phase.

Those who physically passed their art portfolios can retrieve them from Grade 12 STEM 1 - starting tomorrow, November 25, 2022.

We are grateful to everyone who took part as we accumulated 59 portfolios, but only 18 met the standards of our respective core members.

We will release the results once all physical portfolios have been returned to their owners.

We might hold a second phase for the qualifiers because we have exceeded the planned number of qualifiers.

The Sci-Arts Production Guild is now calling for recruitment of young talented artists who uphold the spirit of arts and crafts.

The Sci-Arts is a production with an objective of setting the standards in terms of visual arts and its capacity to reach people beyond the school premises; enhance leadership and organizational skills of proficient students; provides aid in different school organizations in times of events; and partake in sharing creativity in a wider range.

Such qualities that we seek are as follows:

• has a background in props-making

• has a notion about production works

• knowledgeable in technology production

• willingness to run errands for other branches of Arts Guild e.g. Hiraya Arts Guild; and

• should portray traits of responsibility and reliability

Note: Individuals may or may not possess all qualities mentioned.
