Ngayong Hwebes (5PM - 6PM), pag-uusapan natin ang mga bagay na malapit sa ating puso: mental health concerns, love life, friendships, at iba pang trending topics na tiyak na makaka-relate ka! 💖

LGU Kalibo joins the nation in the observance of National Disability Rights Week

Presidential Proclamation No. 597 declares the period of July 17 to 23 of every year as "National Disability Rights Week".

It aims to stimulate public awareness of the problems of disability, encourage every citizen to take active responsibility in the uplifting of the economic and social conditions of the disabled members of our society, and highlight the nation’s efforts towards disability prevention and rehabilitation.

Yesterday, we have flooded the streets of Kalibo with our vibrant colors. We have made our colors seen, our presence felt and our voices heard.

The Local Government Unit of Kalibo headed by Mayor Yorme Juris Bautista Sucro through its Gender and Development Focal Point System and in partnership with the Queen of Aklan Organization, Inc. staged the 3rd Aklan Pride Parade and Program at the Kalibo Pastrana Park Covered Court, Kalibo, Aklan.

SB Atty. Christine Candelario - Dela Cruz shared an inspirational message that highlighted the efforts of the Local Government Unit of Kalibo in ensuring that we are able to celebrate love, diversity, and the beautiful spectrum of identities that make our world vibrant.

SB Konsehal Phillip Yerro Kimpo is also present during the activity and gave his message. He also updated the participants of the laws and ordinances in line in support to the LGBTQIA community.

Series of activities for the whole month of June is prepared in celebration of the Pride Month.

Please also visit the LCW Sunday Bazaar every Sunday of June from 7AM to 6PM at the Kalibo Pastrana Park Gazebo Area and grab local products and support our local artists.

To all those who have fought for equality, and to those who continue to do so, your resilience and courage inspire us all. HAPPENING NOW | June 4, 2024

GFPS TWG Chairperson - Ms. Maranatha E. Vargas attends committee hearing for the Proposed Draft Ordinance No. 088, "An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Katuwang sa Kadiwa at Gawa para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (KADIWA) Program in the Municipality of Kalibo, Province of Aklan" presided by Atty. Christine Candelario - Dela Cruz.

Discussions centered on bringing not only the local products but also the services of the Municipality of Kalibo, Aklan to the Barangays. It will be a collaboration of the Kadiwa sa Kalibo Karavan (K*K) and the GADVan spearheaded by the MEEDO - Agricultural Services Division and the GAD Focal Point System of Kalibo respectively.

The K*K and GADVan are expected to commence by year 2025.

GAD Support Staff of the Municipality of Kalibo, Aklan attended the Information and Service Delivery Network (ISDN) Meeting spearheaded by the Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office last May 17, 2024 at the Gov. Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan.

The meeting focused on the Orientation on ISDN, Mental Health Peer Support Group for the Youth in Kalibo Project of DOH, Mapping of services and establishment of referral pathway for the Adolescents in Kalibo, and Presentation of sample ISDN policies.

Pinangutana kuno imaw it driver kon kilaea na si Ar-Ar. Pinadasigan dayon kuno it driver ro padaeagan ag lumiko sa Brgy. Libtong, Estancia.

Kinuebaan ro menor de edad rason nga eumompat imaw sa kahilamnan ag dumaeagan halin sa lugar.
