Let's Talk English 101: "Navigating English Club Screenings: My Freshman Journey to Bonding with Officers

As a freshman, the prospect of undergoing a screening process and establishing connections with the English Club officers might seem daunting. For Louis Joseph Candari, a first-year student, this was initially a source of anxiety. However, as the screening process kicked off, he quickly realized that his concerns were unwarranted. The warm and welcoming demeanor of the English Club officers, including Keza Villarin, who conducted the interview, created an atmosphere where participants felt at ease.

Louis shared that his nervousness evaporated as he began to engage with his fellow participants and the officers themselves. The English Club officers were not just evaluators but also mentors and friends, fostering an environment conducive to personal growth and learning. This experience served as a reminder that stepping out of one's comfort zone can lead to memorable and rewarding encounters. Louis's journey with the English Club was not just about joining a club; it was about finding a supportive community that made his freshman year all the more unforgettable.
