I now have a high schooler.

Navigating the transition from elementary to high school can feel like stepping into a whole new world, not just for our kids but also for us parents.

As a mom who's been there, I know how challenging it can be to watch our little ones grow and face new academic pressures, social dynamics, and the uncertainties that come with this big leap.

Always remember, we can never pour out of an empty cup. And we also don’t want to give others, especially our loved ones, what’s just left of us or scraps.

So let’s always make an effort to fill our own cups. So we overflow with happiness, kindness, and all the other good things that we fill our cup with.

One of the ways to do this is to pursue passions. Think of something that gives you joy. Do it. As often as you can.

For me it’s as simple as reading a book, learning new things, doodling / tangling, or coloring. I would apply Joy over the heart or diffuse it near me while I do these as a happiness booster.

It's amazing how a small device can give us so much information about our physical and even emotional states.
