Kwentong HMO at OVARIAN CYST.

Nagconsult si mommy dahil sa nakakapang bukol sa tyan for almost a year.
My diagnosis during consultation based on her history, physical examination, laboratories and ultrasound is a benign ovarian cyst approximately measuring 10cm x 10cm x 8cm. Offered her an elective Oophorocystectomy with Bilateral Salpingectomy. (pagtanggal ng bukol at ng dalawang Fallopian tube dahil ayaw nya na rin magbuntis)

Before coming to my clinic she's looking for an OBGYNE na Maxicare accredited, but during the time, on going pa lang ang accreditation ko sa HMOs. Aantayin daw ni mommy basta maoperahan sya under Maxicare. Told her na there's a possibility of twisting or mag complicate (with severe pain), and if that happens, hindi kami pwede mag wait, but to do an emergency surgery. She insisted to still wait for the accreditation before I schedule her.

After three days, she had severe pain, nag complicate na nga. On exploration twisted na 3x ang ovarian mass kaya may severe pain. Good thing nagawan ng paraan na magamit ang Maxicare nya.
