HAPPY HAPPY TIKLOS!

🪩🎶 As we jive and sway to the melodious and traditional music of folk songs, I hope we all felt the belongingness that our lesson for Hope 3 portrays, particularly in our Tiklos dance! If you don’t know, the Tiklos is a native peasant dance of Leyte that harmonises the sound of a drum made from a hollow trunk of a tree with a carabao hide head, also known as Tambora! The said folk dance also symbolises a group of peasants who agree to work for each other, which HUMSS 12-C also showcased in their presentation, which happened on their 4th period! (November 14, 3:00–4:00 PM) ⭐️

❓ With tremendous pressure and other responsibilities overlapping the given amount of time for preparation, HUMSS 12-C never fails to amaze and bring a wonderful performance despite all the challenges. That’s the true spirit of being a dedicated and committed aspiring professional! ‼️

👩‍🏫 The class would also like to thank Ma’am Mariz Lopez for lending her time, support, and assistance so we could understand the essence of folk dance and its significant impact on the enlightenment of the students towards different cultures and traditions. Your encouragement is what led us to our endeavours! 🏆👏

THE STARTING POINT

After days, weeks, and a month of compliance, responsibilities, and being able to handle multiple subjects in one go, the aftermath of our laborr has stepped up towards our success! It may only be one step for now, but at least the progress and improvement we made have reflected on us, resulting in us being more eager to achieve academic excellence and holistic development. HUMSS 12C: Congratulate yourself for your dedication, resiliency, and commitment that led you to where you are right now. Don’t stop obtaining the spotlight that you deserve, and always create a remarkable presentation that will represent the truth within you. As our school days continue, let this recognition inspire you to become better and continue to be better. Each day is a chance for you to stand firm and let your colours rise as you speak confidently in front of your colleagues and teachers with a heart.
