PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION FOR 2024 MEXT SCHOLARS ✈️ 🇯🇵

Scholars who are set to fly out to Japan this Spring for the start of their academic scholarships are invited to attend the pre-departure orientation on 9 March 2024, Saturday, 2pm - 4pm, at the Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC), 2F Embassy of Japan, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

Expect guidance for pre-flight preparations, tips upon arrival, and suggestions on living arrangements.

 Are you interested in becoming a Japanese government scholar but do not know where to begin?
 Do you have questions regarding your application?
Our scholarship consultant will be available to answer your inquires on May 31 (Tuesday) at the Embassy of Japan.
❗ The consultation is NOT an interview for scholarship applications. It is intended only to give advice and provide clarifications to those applying for the MEXT scholarship.

🔹 Please indicate all of the following information in the body of the email. Please send your sign-up email on or before 5:00PM OF MAY 27, 2022 (FRIDAY).
• Name of the person consulting (This should match what is indicated on an ID card to be presented upon entry to the Embassy.)
• Category to consult for
• Highest educational attainment or current grade level of the applicant
• Preferred time slot: Morning (10am to 12:30pm) OR Afternoon (1:30pm to 5:00pm)
🔹 Additional instructions will be emailed to those who successfully secure a slot for consultation.
🔹 Phone-in consultations are also available on that day. Just call the Embassy at the stated times. NO NEED TO SIGN-UP FOR A PHONE CONSULTATION.
