This month is significant in the hospice and palliative care field, since it marks the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, which honors all forms of hospice and palliative care worldwide. Many people, however, may still wonder why it matters and what difference it makes to recognize it and celebrate it. This month marks when the Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation was founded, which was also established to honor the life of Sarah Adriano, Fermin and Lourdes Adriano's only daughter. On this day, let us introduce you to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀 “𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗮” 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, who is the loving mother and compassionate founder behind this foundation. Watch this video as a tribute to her and all she has done for the Madre de Amor Hospice, as well as a brief history of the hospice's humble beginnings in a simple center with the goal of serving the community.
