Something special happened during our trip to Japan. There was a charming little train station in Arashiyama that had a piano museum next to a cozy cafe. The place had a piano that anyone could play. I started playing Sparkle quietly so as not to disturb anyone inside. But by the time I was finished, several of the locals in the station had their phones out, recording. And some even clapped at the end. Definitely a piano memory worth to me more than any performance I’ve done in my life. 🎹
