The church is God’s fortress, His city of refuge, which He holds in a revolted world. Any betrayal of the church is treachery to Him who has bought mankind with the blood of His only-begotten Son. From the beginning, faithful souls have constituted the church. In every age the Lord’s watchmen have borne a faithful testimony to the generation in which they lived. God has sent forth His angels to minister to His church, and the gates of hell have not been able to prevail against His people. Not one opposing force has risen to counterwork His work, that God has not foreseen. He has not left His church forsaken, but has traced in prophetic declarations what would occur.

Many and wonderful are the promises in the Scriptures regarding the church. “Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” “I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; that thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves.”

The Sabbath isn’t arbitrary or random.

If you’ve ever practiced, observed, or “kept” Sabbath, you’ve likely been blessed by it in some way or another, even if it’s hard to put your finger on exactly what it is.

God wasn’t just throwing out different “tests” for the Israelites to prove their loyalty to Him at Sinai - all of the laws in the Ten Commandments actually make a lot of sense when we look at human history. But the Sabbath always strikes many people as odd… out of place… and yet, it’s the longest commandment of them all.

It’s a coming together of the divine and human in the most beautiful way - fellowship. And in seeing God make that not only possible, but accessible to all, we see His heart in the Sabbath.

So when we make it all about what you can and can’t do, and how you can do what you “do” do, we mistake the intent of the Father’s heart. Sure, He’s outlined ways in which we can and should observe this special day, but the attention is His on us, and ours on Him. Nothing more, nothing less.

Let’s ensure our understanding of Sabbath reflects an understanding of God’s heart towards humanity as a whole. Free, loving, giving.

That’s what Sabbath is all about.

This line ay matatagpuan sa book ni Prophet Amos ang chapter ay 3 verse 3. Though the context of the verse is about the agreement of God and His prophets, the principle is applicable

Maybe some of you already read my content about pursuing someone. As a man of God, when the right time comes na prayerfully ay pinili mong maging ready sa pamamagitan ng guidance ni Lord, you should pursue her.

But . . . . here’s the thing . .

It’s not one sided. Yes! you heard it right.

The men pursue and the women communicate.

Collab pala ito . .

But the Scripture is saying that this should be done in purity and in accordance with the Lord’s guidance. Sabi nga sa Philippians 4: 8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Uulitin ko, think about these things.

Sabi sa Proverbs 31:10, "She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls." Ganyan kahalaga ang isang babae and syempre ang lalaki rin. Your worth ay both na matatagpuan in Christ.

Men, you should pursue her but not to the point that you lose yourself in the process. Give yourself a “Self-respect”. Women, communicate but also give yourself boundaries. Again that’s “Self-Respect”. Sabi nga ni Ellen White sa Testimonies To The Church Volume 2, p. 135, “Self-respect may lead us to avoid the appearance of evil.”

Remember, Love is NOT about "give and take". It's about giving freely without relying on the reward or the reciprocation.

Discernment from the Lord will serve as your guidance.
