Andres Bonifacio sa kanyang akdang tula na "Pag-ibig sa Tinubuang Lupa" sapagkat dito ay ibinahagi niya na ang pagmamahal para sa bansa ay hindi pansarili, bagkus iniisip niya rin ang mga taong nakapaligid dahil isinasaalang-alang niya ang kapakanan at kabutihan para sa lahat.

Ngayong Nobyembre 30, ating gunitain ang ika-159 anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ng Ama ng Himagsikang Pilipino at Supremo ng Katipunan na si G*t. Andres Bonifacio.

Nararapat na tularan ang hangarin ng bayani sapagkat ito ang sumisimbolo ng
masidhing pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit sa bayan.

DEPED ENCOURAGES ELIGIBLE LEARNERS TO REGISTER FOR UPCOMING ELECTIONS

Citing its vision and core values, the Department of Education (DepEd) has encouraged eligible learners to register for election and exercise their right to vote.

During the EduAksyon Regional Press Conference, Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado M. San Antonio stressed DepEd’s role in encouraging the learners to take part in political issues of the society, especially in selecting the leaders of the country.

“‘Yung curriculum natin at mga karanasang ibinabahagi sa ating mga mag-aaral ay nakatuon sa mga bagay-bagay na magsisig**o na tayong lahat ay magiging makabansa, makakalikasan, makatao, at maka-Diyos,” Usec. San Antonio said.

“Ang pangarap natin sabi nga sa DepEd Vision ay, “Filipinos who passionately love their country and who use their talents and potentials to build a strong country,” he added.

According to the Commission on Elections, the registration for new voters will be until September 30, 2021.

An eligible new voter must be a Filipino citizen; at least 18 years old on or before Election Day (May 9, 2022); and a resident of the Philippines for at least one year, and a resident of the place in which one intends to vote for at least six months.

San Antonio mentioned DepEd’s continuous efforts to include voter awareness in social studies and integration of the topic in other subjects as well.

“Ang pagiging isang maayos na mamamayan ng bansa, kasama ang mabisang pamimili ng mga magiging leader ng pamayanan ay kasama sa ating mga obligasyon,” San Antonio expressed.

“Gusto natin na kayong mga kabataan ay talagang nakagagawa ng mga desisyon na mula sa maayos na pag-iisip dahil pinapahalagahan natin ang mga core values. Gusto natin na ang lahat ay tutulong para ang ating bansa ay maging masagana,” the undersecretary added.

This 2021, we are united to celebrate this victory and commemorate the Philippine part in the achievement of science and humankind in circumnavigating the planet for the first time.

DepEd offices and schools are encouraged to conduct their own simultaneous flag raising ceremonies on the same date and time. Those who are working remotely are encouraged to watch and share the livestream of the ceremony as per Memorandum OUF-2021-0204.

Pebrero 02, 2021 – Sinuportahan ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) ang desisyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte na bawiin ang naunang polisiya na payagan ang mga batang 10-14 na taong gulang na pahintulutang lumabas sa mga nasa lugar na nasa ilalim ng Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

“No’ng nag-desisyon na ang Presidente na ipagpaliban muna ‘yong pag-allow ng mga bata na 10-14 years old sa MGCQ areas and provinces kami ay pumapayag, dahil may batas na tayo na nagsasabing ang presidente ang magdedesisyon tungkol sa pagbukas, pagsara ng ating mga programa sa Department of Education on the recommendation of the Department of Education,” ani Kalihim Leonor Magtolis Briones sa Laging Handa press briefing noong Martes.

“Wala kaming problema riyan [o] agam-agam. Naiintindihan namin dahil noong ginawa ang desisyon na ‘yan ‘di pa natin nakita kung gaano ka-seryoso ang threat ng mga pag-develop, paglabas ng mga bagong variants ng COVID-19,” dagdag niya.

Binigyang-diin ni Kalihim Briones ang patuloy na pagpapatupad ng Kagawaran ng academic ease measures upang mabawasan at maibsan ang mental stress ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang tahanan.

“Ang ginawa natin sa Department of Education ‘yong tinatawag nating academic ease. Pinaluwagan natin ‘yong mga requirements dahil nagbigay ng feedback ang parents at mga bata na naninibago sila sa dami ng mga assignments, so iyon ang ginagawa natin, ‘yong academic ease,” pagbabahagi ni Briones.

Kabilang sa mga hakbang ng academic ease na ipinakilala ng Kagawaran ay ang rekonsiderasyon sa haba ng oras at araw para sa pagkumpleto at pagpapasa ng mga gawain ng mga mag-aaral at ang pagpapalawig ng mental health/socio-emotional well-being support sa mga g**o, mag-aaral, at mga magulang sa pamamagitan ng group wellness sessions.

Ibinahagi rin ng Kagawaran ang kanilang kahandaan sa pagpapatupad ng pilot implementation ng limited face-to-face classes sa oras na bumuti ang sitwasyong pangkalusugan sa bansa.

“Kung maayos na natin itong ating health issues, kasi primordial iyong protection ng mga bata, ay puwede na nating i-apply iyong ating binabalak, for example, na pilot studies [of face-to-face classes],” ayon sa Kalihim.

“Binabantayan natin kung ano ang developments hinggil sa COVID at saka ang desisyon ng Presidente tungkol sa pag-protect ng ating mga bata at ng ating mga teachers. So, mahirap magsabi ngayon kasi ang nagdi-determine largely as I said is the state of danger or threat that COVID still poses to our children and to our teachers,” pagbibigay-diin ni Briones

Samantala, binigyang-linaw rin ni Briones na hindi makikibahagi ang mga g**o sa aktwal na pagsasagawa ng pagbabakuna. Sa halip, ayon sa kaniya, ang DepEd ay makatutulong sa pagpapabagi ng impormasyon ukol sa programa ng pababakuna ng gobyerno.

“Ang malaking kontribusyon ng mga teachers ay iyong pagpalaganap ng impormasyon hinggil sa vaccine. But even for that, kailangan silang i-brief nang husto, nang maayos ng malaman nila talaga kung ano benefits o ang protection na maibigay ng vaccine sa mga teachers. So more on the educational aspect; wala sa pag-participate in medical procedures because that would really be malpractice,” ani Kalihim.
