Expectations vs reality 😅☕️

We have been very quiet the past few weeks but that’s because we’ve been really busy planning and preparing for the future of this smol kopi brand. Some weeks ago we took our outdoor brewing kit while we did some site visits 👀 for a nice warm cup on a beautiful day in the shade. But sometimes things don’t go your way and you screw up. And that’s ok!! Such is life 🐌☕️✨

Just some inventory updates: we’re roasting our LAST batch of Party for One V1 (Guji Shakisso, Ethiopia x Kapangan, Benguet) today. We don’t have a definite date when V2 will come out so best to grab a bag of our favorite filter blend so far while supplies last! 💃🏽🕺🏽☕️✨

How have you been enjoying your brews so far with Party For One?

We find that we enjoy this coffee the most as a clean and flavorful pour over.

94-95c water, 1:15-16 ratio, medium find grind, CAFEC Abaca cone filters (faster flow).

We start with the bloom (swirl if you feel the need to!) then move on to your first pour at a slight height from the coffee bed and in circular motions. This is a high agitation pour but keep the stream gentle and controlled so as not to cause channeling. We like our last few pours to be low agitation in the center that’s close to the bed. Aim to finish brew at 2:30, serve, play a song to set the mood and enjoy the waves of flavor while hot and as it cools~
