Nung early days ko ng diagnosis ng bipolar mood disorder ko, I always cry for losing people. People come and go is the most annoying thing. Parati akong umiiyak sa mga counseling sessions ko kasi natatakot ako mag-isa.

But as the time go on, Tita taught me not to expect but just to be nice to everyone. Nung una, kapag ginagawa ko yung effort at best ko to treat someone especial, nalulungkot ako kapag hindi nila ginagawa sakin yun. I always there for everyone but no one is there for me, and the depresses me.

Disappointments make me realize the worth of not expecting. I stop expecting from everyone na kapag I do good, if I make then special they will eventually reciprocate it. So ngayon, kapag may nakikipagkaibigan sakin, sige we're friends, but I don't expect that you will open up to me, tell me your stories, be there for me or even make me feel special. Kung di ka mag-open, I don't care. May problema ka, at di ka nagsasabi sakin, I don't care. Me, not caring at all makes things easier for me.

Friend mo ko but you are not treating me one, I don't care. So I am just present depending on the situation.

But expecting from other people makes me realize, that we rely on them. That we actually count on them, and we treat them as a family that we really care about.

I just learned the difference.

A healthy mind goes with a healthy body .....
