PBSP is looking for a COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER.

The Communications Officer will assist PBSP and the Corporate Affairs Unit (CAU) in developing and implementing institutional and program-related communication plans and strategies to ensure PBSP’s brand visibility and reputation. He/She will support units in delivering communication needs and represent CAU and/or PBSP in activities pertinent to the unit’s area of expertise. Area of assignment: Mandaluyong City

We are looking for a Public Health Nurse (areas to handle: Mandaluyong, San Juan, and Makati)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the implementation of TB program specifically the Programmatic Management of Drug-Resistant TB (PMDT) component within the local government unit.
2. Provides technical assistance to the PMDT/integrated Delivery of TB Services (iDOTS) treatment facilities health staff.
3. Coordinates with Health Units/Offices and other local agencies regarding patient’s status and treatment.
4. Monitors the implementation of PMDT and iDOTS in the LGU.
5. Collect, analyze, interpret, and disseminate PMDT records and reports
6. Facilitates timely submission of program reports of the assigned LGU/s.
7. Submits monthly accomplishment report to DOH-MMCHD thru the Regional NTP Coordinators/Technical Staff.
8. Assists in the conduct of default tracing to initial defaulters and interrupting Drug-Resistant TB (DRTB) patients in the Satellite Treatment Center (STC) and partner iDOTS facility and ensure patients' compliance to treatment.
9. Conduct monthly Onsite Data Validation (OSDV) to assigned Rapid TB Diagnostics Laboratories (RTDLs) and ensure that all RRTB detected were properly initiated on treatment.
10. Ensure proper referral mechanism to other health facilities whether government or private institutions relative to their retreatment cases.
11. Acts as resources person, facilitator during training, meetings, workshops, and other NTP-related activities.

12. Perform other tasks assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
